For reals though, can we finally be excited about a new series with Bozebeats? We havent had a truly exciting new serial since Neverland, so I’m worried. But leakers don’t usually comment on this stuff, yet they’re all saying how good it is. I do hope it is really that good, then I can see Golem Hearts lose it’s head without losing too much of my own along with it?

Fanboyed too hard but I can't say that I'm more pumped for HZ than part 5, aside from the fact I enjoyed part 5 but more importantly I know it's in good hands. Regardless 2018 is going to be awesome.

When's the last time leakers commented on a new series?

Why can't Hoshin Engi get half of the JoJo treatment is beyond me. It's like any reboot Old Jump manga that come after this will be better than it no matter how bad the anime adaption is .

Passionate staff goes along way but also the amount of episodes it gets. They're doing a 20+ volumes series in like 24 episodes? There's going to be a lot of skipping and upset fans even if the mangaka is involved (not sure if he is with Hoshin's anime). It looks like this adaptation is going for a quick cash grab than anything else.

It will be interesting to see hw it deals with the later arcs, because at this point it seems its cuttting abosolutely everything non-essential to the overall plot (which will be a lot early on as Im assuming this had tons of “enemy of the week” chapters). Though I was surprised when I read ch 1 after watching the first episode, it was just as fast paced and confusing there tbh, but its the second half of the episode where it truly fell apart.

I dont really get the point of making a remake if theyre not going to do a good job of it. Like, is it really financially benefitial in the slightest?

Now this is a Super Push lol. 2 manga series and an anime all starting at the same time, and already announcing the first volume cover art. They are really trying to make it impossible to not see or think about this series.

Those two chapters were enormous, they make up literally over half a volume by themselves. It's pretty obvious he just drew it well in advance so they could release it all at once when the anime started.

well yeah
there are two villains of the week before the end of the first episode totally skipped out. To show how smart and cunning Taikobou is.
The character in the last part of episode 1 not going to suppose to show up until chapter 30+, WHICH in order for that character to show up there is a conflict which involve MORE Villains of the week.
And the information dump at the beginning not suppose to be there until later on in the story piece by piece.
I highly recommend reading the manga. It's up there as one of my top favorite as well as top best Jump manga.

Yabuki need to stops drawing for fun and get back to To Love Ru Part 3. Also, he sure loves to draw pink hair girls.

I recall a similar thing happening with Juni Taisen, except the first two chapters large were released a week apart instead of at once. Either way, Vol 1 cover was revealed when the series had practically just started.

now that I think about it, Bakuman is a much better comparison, since it's about a duo that want to create an entertainment media (manga) just like director-san and actress-chan and movies

If anything, it reminds me a lot of Runway de Waratte from Weekly Shonen Magazine from Kodansha.
