I just read the interview and it said nothing about Neverland being 50% done? It just said that the story reached the "turning point" (折り返し地点), not that it's halfway finished.

I truly do think if Shibata or Moue got another chance they'd succeed. I think with their miniseries (Sahara the flower samurai and K.K in the city of fog) that they can tell good stories with interesting world's and characters.

For anyone that has read Shibata´s robot one-shot, how was it? Would it be needed to change some stuff for it to get serialized or not? Also, is there a link for the raws? Have been interested in checking it out for while now

Dude, realistically, how long can Neverland possibly be? At most I can see it reaching 25 volumes, but even that seems like more than enough.

20 volumes lower limit and 25 volumes upper limit sounds about right to me.

We just need to remember one thing: having lots of volumes doesn't necessarily mean dragging or milking. People praise AssClass for having stopped with 21 volumes, but still there are arcs and characters that feel undeveloped, because although the author didn't betray his initial plan, the presentation was not always realized at the right pace.

People were too busy talking about the 50% bit to notice that the editor basically confirmed that Neverland "adaptations" are going to happen this year and the next:
