Still with the sequel be published in Magazine Pocket the sequel won’t be very long but the longest I think it will be is 20 chapters. Also I expect some kind of subplot probably involving Laxus and Ivan to be apart of the 100 Year Quest because if there isn’t the 100 Year Quest will be really boring since there’s nothing on Mount Saint Zonia.

I don’t think there will be a new threat because at this point it wouldn’t make sense and besides the plot line with is Ivan so it would be explain why Laxus and Gildarts are in the sequel. Also what Mashima meant by Fairy Tail isn’t over is referring to the sequel, the City Hero spin off, the Happy spin off, the secret project 00 and the anime.

Yeah that’s not going to happen because Mashima already said those kids are a joke and the series is going to end when the anime ends.

Mashima stated in the volume 62 afterword that Zeref and Mavis are still dead and the mostly plot for the sequel would be involving Laxus and Ivan because that subplot needs resolved.
