Okay, so the one shot was amazing and hilarious.
A summary of it :
The story starts by telling you that the demon king was defeated, skies have cleared, and peace have returned... But for some reason everyone forgot who the hero that defeated the demon king is.
It then moves a few years after the defeat of the demon king where it shows a man called "Palco" applying for a job, and when asked on why he has 5 empty years on his CV he answers that he was on an adventure to defeat the demon king. of-course the shop owner doesn't believe him and kicks him out. Palco then becomes really mad and confused on why no one remembers him even tho he actually did defeat the demon king.

They even show you pictures of the country's princess and Palco's mother before and after the defeat of the demon king. The Princess promised to marry him if he defeated the DK but after he defeated him she doesn't recognize him and thinks he is a disgusting person going after her. Palco's mother used to keep encouraging him that he can defeat the DK, but after he defeated him she started wondering on why he turned into such a neet. Palco explains that the reason why he is a neet and can't find a job is because while his friends were studying, working, and building their families, he was training hard, creating rivals and friends during his fights with the demons, saving the princess from the demon king and finally defeating him.

He then meets his childhood friend in the streets where he finds that she got married and has children and she told him that he should stop being a neet and stop making his mother worried. He then remembers when they were both little kids where she used to promise him that she would marry the "hero Palco" but of-course she doesn't remember that.

So because of all what's happening, Palco becomes an absolute lunatic in despair (you can see from his crazy face in the double page) and decides to destroy this world that he saved because of how cold it is treating him. But, before he actually attacks he wakes back to his senses and starts worrying that he was actually gonna destroy the world he saved. At that moment a fairy (who's a bitch btw) shows up infront of him (and they seem to know each other from the time of his adventures). She tells him that the demon king that he defeated was actually the previous hero before him, and that he turned evil after the whole world forgot about him when he defeated the previous demon lord.
She tells him that in order for him to not become a demon king he has to start living a normal person's life, which includes finding a job, finding someone he loves and so on...

They find a girl in the street and the fairy tells him that this is his chance and he should try talking to her, Palco thinks it's such an easy task since he has already done that multiple times before with the princess, his childhood friend and other girls. But he realizes that this time he is speaking to a girl without the status of a hero, so he feels the pressure and is suffering to bring out words. While he is trying to talk to her, some bandits come and steal her, so Palco and the fairy see that as a chance (to save her and make her fall for him). He then saves the girl (in a hilarious way) and while she is thanking him he notices that she has a wedding ring on her hand so he gets depressed again, but she calls him back and gets him a job at her father's farm where he could use his superhuman strength. At the last page they show you that the girl's little sister is acting all tsundere towards him and the chapter ends with "The hero's adventure is not over yet..."

Okay, that was a long piece of writing.
Oh btw for whoever is interested, the title of the one shot reads "Yuusha no sono ato o shitteruka ?" which roughly translates to "Do you know the aftermath of the hero?"
Looks interesting.

Speaking of Bleach
I still have zero idea what happened here, but sex innuendo/implications/barrier-breaking is nothing new in shonen:

in DBZ Krillin thought 18 was into her brother (incest) and tried to later explain how he had a kid with her to goku (breeding), Yugioh and Sonic X (YGO manga mainly and uncut versions of Sonic X) Tea showed more boisterous actions to Yami than a regular crush (simulated sexual attraction), Rogue literally implied on wanting to have sex with Knuckles (sex), Haku was a trap and Naruto was attracted to him (transvestite reference), even in FT they implied those two demons were lesbians (lgbt).

Moue's art seems to have lost a bit of charm and uniqueness to it.

What I want to know is how do they get away with blatant innuendo in children shows when parents watch with their kids. Even an American made kids show like of ANIMANIACS had crazy innuendo, this video is mind blowing:

This would cause riots and ban petitions now, every SJW would be shook forever. It's not shocking it happens in kids shows, moreso it's shocking it was allowed to happen.
I read Bleach in the past and never perceived those details lol And seeing it now reminds me of a ****** that I read some months ago.. even the girl looks similar but it wasn't a parody of Bleach

Box office MHA ( 2nd weekend ).

This is still an estimate as the actual amount for Heroaca hasn't be released yet for some reason. The place that updates left it out. The real amounts will come out probably tomorrow but should be close to this.

Is that number for MHA good or not? That drop is pretty bad.
Decent. Obon festival could up that in good numbers. Otherwise, a 1.5B Yen is the floor and 2B Yen is the ceiling. Not bad. The decline is either alarming or the free manga on the 1st day made the movie frontloaded it too much. Eclipsing 1B is usually a profitable result

Yeah the movie was clearly frontloaded by the free manga too much.

When all is said and done, I can see it hitting 1.5b Yen, which is profitable for a movie. However, I can't help but feel Toho might be slightly disappointed by the numbers when you consider the marketing push and the number of screenings it had which was more than any Naruto movie. Doesn't mean they won't make more movies though.

slightly deviating but still relevant,

with Zero Tea Time(Shounen Sunday) being 4th on that list while already having official sources saying it did 600k makes you wonder if HQ and OPM somehow did amazingly well for a second week or...

ZTT numbers was after the ranking cut-off (it said 3 days but I might read that wrong) AND that number includes digital(Again, I am not sure from the news article) and knowing ZTT expected readerbase it might caused it to skew heavily to the digital side.

The manga isn't going to have much of a pull beyond older fans who have the money and time to go to multiple screenings. MHAs primary audience are kids and teens who don't care about that stuff and if they did the numbers would essentially stop moving after the first day of release.

I think they're more than happy enough actually.

Screenings don't magically mean a film is going to make more money. In This Corner Of The World opened in 63 screens and made more money than every Naruto. One Piece Film Z made more than Gold despite opening in 300 screens versus Gold's 739. Screenings don't offset the profit margins since the Japanese box office works differently from the US.

I'm not saying more screenings equals to more money but that they were expecting more hence the huge number of screenings for the first film of a series. There are plenty of films that have made less with huge number of screenings. One Piece Gold is actually a good example where they probably expected the film to do better based on the previous two films performance and gave it the widest release for an anime film ever but when it was released, it made less than Film Z in its opening week and was slightly higher than Strong World.

This Corner Of The World is an exception because it was an unexpected hit and stayed in theaters for more than 30 weeks.

It got the same amount of screens as other mainstream animated series sans the first Yokai Watch Movie which opened up at over 400 screens

You're just making observations with no evidence. Z was also in theaters longer than Gold

The first Monster Strike movie had over 300 screens and didn't even crack 1 billion yen.

That's not true. For a first movie, it had more screenings than other mainstream titles like any Naruto film (Boruto included), Hunter x Hunter, Bleach, Kuroko no Basuke: Last Game, Sword Art Online, Precure. If you look it mainly from Shonen Jump's pov, only Dragon Ball and One Piece out of any series in the nagazine has managed to have more screenings than MHA.
You're just making observations with no evidence. Z was also in theaters longer than Gold.
One Piece film Gold having the widest release for an anime film ever and opening less than Film Z isn't an observation but a fact. I'm not sure what Film Z staying in theaters longer has to do with it having the better debut.
The first Monster Strike movie had over 300 screens and didn't even crack 1 billion yen
I'm not sure how that's a counterpoint to my argument which is Toho expecting better box office performance hence the large number of screenings. I don't think it had the same marketing push as MHA (Toho is 2nd to none here) so they're not even comparable in the first place.

But in the end, this is all a speculation so neither of us will know who's right or wrong.

All those movies you posted had screens 200+ screens barring Kuroko and SAO (which aren't mainstream and very otaku orientated) which are in the range of every mainstream anime. MHA had less screens than Yokai Watch, Pokemon, Conan, Doraemon, Shin-chan and every Ghibli movie. At this point you're just pulling hairs over a few screens when I already proved that more screens does not equal more profit.

If you look it mainly from Shonen Jump's pov, only Dragon Ball and One Piece out of any series in the nagazine has managed to have more screenings than MHA.
Problem is that there's not a whole lot of Jump movies to begin with and most do not even qualify as "films". Dragon Ball was their first foray into theatrical wide releases starting with the Broly movie (before then the movies were double billed or only shown at special events) and even then it didn't start opening in 200+ screens until Battle of Gods (313). So saying MHA having more screens than most doesn't say anything about expectations but how much bigger the Japanese theater distribution has gotten to the point where it took well over half a century for a domestic animated release to have more screenings than most Disney films (Gold)

One Piece film Gold having the widest release for an anime film ever and opening less than Film Z isn't an observation but a fact. I'm not sure what Film Z staying in theaters longer has to do with it having the better debut.
No. You saying that "they probably expected the film to do better based on the previous two films performance and gave it the widest release for an anime film ever but when it was released" is just your baseless observation not a fact after I proved you wrong by bringing up that Z made more with less screens insinuating that the MHA should have made more based on that alone. Z made more than Gold (in Japan) it was in theaters longer.

I'm not sure how that's a counterpoint to my argument which is Toho expecting better box office performance hence the large number of screenings. I don't think it had the same marketing push as MHA (Toho is 2nd to none here) so they're not even comparable in the first place.
If they weren't pushing Monster Strike than why would it have more screens than MHA? Its like you just exist to be proven wrong through logic.

But in the end, this is all a speculation so neither of us will know who's right or wrong.
No you're just wrong despite the evidence showcasing that they're happy with its success you'll still come up here and deny it saying that "it should have done better" based on what? The marketing actually helped it a lot.

Did you somehow misconstrue this bolded part (on purpose)?

How can you say your argument was never about screen numbers when it was the basis to everything? You're putting emphasis on something that you yourself said doesn't matter so why is it that when it comes to MHA its a huge deal? Do people...just not know how few Japanese films can crack 500 million yen let alone finish out with 1 billion towards the end of their run even with 200+ screens?
