Now that we’re in the 2019 circulation, any series that’s been in the magazine for a while that anyone predicts will end
Please Soma. Ive read some of the comments on the latest chapter and I cant even believe the direction the series has taken. Apparently they've gone with dark chefs & making cooking evil? It sounds like something from Toriko but at least it made sense with that series since it was a fantasy series.

Ive said it way too many times but literally Soma is the worst series in the magazine atm. Get it out of here...

At the moment the magazine is stocky, so I guess Soma and Yuna will go on for a while.

Yuna, Zumou and Soma will end in 2019 in my opinion. The first because of the anime doing almost nothing for the manga and because romcom on Jump aren't that long with exception of Nisekoi (which even then ended on 230 which isn't that big compared to others on the magazine). Zumou because the anime did nothing for it and it's sales never grew. With Soma, the manga in the TOC is terrible and it's sales are declining in each volume... this is the one that I'm not so sure but at the very least it's ending on 2020.

Yuuna, Zumo and Soma. Probably by April-May. Also either Jimoto or David has to end or move to other place

Im going to miss this thread when it switches over. The first page has Bozebeats and was always a pleasure seeing one of JUMPs best designed lead character everytime, I come to this website. Precious.

Yuuna and Zumo are most likely going to end in 2019. They might allow Soma to continue for another year since the sales for it are still pretty good.

But if they end 2-3 series, that means more slots will be empty so we can expect a lot of serialization rounds.

I guess those BC "discussions" paid off, so close to 900 pages lol.
A testament to the influence and importance of BLack Clover in Weekly Shonen Jump. You dont see such comprehensive and deep discussion from its contemporaries, suggesting their lack of relevance in the current manga climate.

Also it's official now, Kishimoto is a liar. He said he'd start a new series this year and we haven't gotten so much as an illustration.
I don't think he himself said it would start this year. Whoever hosted the panel where it was announced said it would start in 2018. And we don't know if his series will be published in WSJ, I remember Kishimoto said he was interested in Jump+ years ago. There's also a chance the project has been completely cancelled.

Edit:
From August 2015
"Kishimoto-sensei added in the interview that his new manga will mostly likely not be a weekly serialization, due to the strain put on him by the weekly Naruto serialization. He is, instead, learning toward a monthly a digital publication like Shuiesha’s Shonen Jump Plus since it allows for more freedom with page counts and publication dates."

^ I Stopped buying at volume 16 :emocat.
Lol if any series dethrone one piece next year i won’t read Jump for one month.

I just want Act Age to get licensed and Slam dunk remaster localized. Is that too much to ask? :emocat

i would imagine both Act Age and Jujutsu would get picked up by viz in 2019, since they do need to have new licenses in 2019. I dont think theyve gone a single year without picking up any new series for print form WSJ.

For weekly in viz jump, probably no for Act Age Im guessing, I think Jujutsu may still be on the table, will give up hope if it reaches its one year anniversary.

BLack Clover solidly in the top 5 of current jump, claims of its failure are overstated, unfounded, and unwarranted. Thank you iceemperor-sempai for your tireless work.

I wonder why they take the effort to hide the sales numbers of Dr.Stone lol

Wondering about Golden Kamuy and One Punch Man total sales.

And ey, next year Kimetsu is likely to beat Shokugeki
