Gon and Killua... these two went through heaven and hell throughout the series. I feel that their relationship is very sweet and touching (and no, not in a ship way. Get away, fangirls! )

It's awesome to see these two high up on the list. It just means that their journey of friendship was worth watching

Personally I don't really care if someone wants to ship them in a ship way, but to me they're perfectly symbolizing what a great and healthy friendship looks like. They care and support each other, while respecting the others feelings. But they're also strong individuals on their own, with their own mindset and own personal goals. So many shounen series have a weird or generic (or outright toxic) friendship at the center that I still find this one incredibly refreshing and relatable.
Then there's ofc everything they went through, and it becomes one of the most memorable pairings in my eyes.

Funny, I thought Baccano was awesome but this couple I simply couldn't get behind at all... I found almost every other character in the show more interesting than these goofballs Which doesn't mean they were bad characters, but just not my thing at all. Maybe I should rewatch the show at some point, it's been 10 years or so.
