Act-Age 5 is above Dr. Stone's new volume in Bunkyodo's ranking and in Amaran.
I don't think it'll get any further significant boosts from a new season. It will still grow a bit more but at a much slower pace. For us my hero academia will have another boost when the 4th season comes out?
Not sure what you mean, Season 4 will cover an arc that will have more stakes and is alot more darker and serious than anything prior.I don't think it'll get any further significant boosts from a new season. It will still grow a bit more but at a much slower pace.
Few reasons.
If Season 4's story arc was one where the stakes were even larger, then yeah it would've been possible. But it isn't.AFO vs All Might was essentially the peak of the series, IMO. The stakes were super high, it introduced the main villain, showed how powerful of a threat he was and ended up with All Might losing his powers which was a HUGE turning point in this manga's world.
- And the other reason being that the general trend of series is to stagnate after 2-3 seasons. Because most cannot constantly follow up on the prior hype and the said hype eventually dies down.
Ofc, it can get boosts via other means. So lets wait and see.
I disagree, IMO, the stakes in the upcoming season 4 arc were definitely not higher than season 3.Not sure what you mean, Season 4 will cover an arc that will have more stakes and is alot more darker and serious than anything prior.

Also, being darker doesn't make it better. As much as I loved Tintin as a character and him losing his abilities was sad and Nighteye's death being sad as well, these are just characters introduced in the same arc. It's a lot different to All Might facing his biggest rival, learning AFO's number 1 successor is All Might's sensei's grandchild, almost dying, losing his ability which changed the world setting from having a number 1 hero who villains feared to no one to take his place, having AFO and All Might both name their successor setting a future battle of successors. So I disagree, Season 3 stakes were so much higher.
At this point, I don't think MHA will become a 1M seller per volume like we hoped for, but it will still chart in the top 3 yearly rankings, and optimistically speaking, by the end of the series, it will still end up around 100M+ despite barely averaging 1M per volume.I don't think it'll get any further significant boosts from a new season. 100M? huh, when was the last time any jump series reached that. Just how long do you think the series will last chapter/volume wise.At this point, I don't think MHA will become a 1M seller per volume like we hoped for, but it will still chart in the top 3 yearly rankings, and optimistically speaking, by the end of the series, it will still end up around 100M+ despite barely averaging 1M per volume.
Overhaul raises the stakes after presenting the first on screen death of the series, he instantly means business and Horikoshi shows that he isn't afraid the kill characters. Also Nighteye becomes a relatable character because of his relationship with All Might and the struggles he has with using his abilities because of the consequences it has on his psyche. Many characters are involved instead of just one big fight, and they are given such big moments. The dark tone of the arc enhances the tension and makes it better.
Overhaul doesn't really accomplish anything as an antagonist; he has two things going for him, his design and his ability, that's it. As a character, he is completely empty and his motivation is even less relatable than Stein's, who was already pretty silly. The arc doesn't feel darker because, ultimately, the new villains don't feel more dangerous or compelling. It doesn't expand the world or story in any significant way. The single good thing about the arc was, in the ened, making the lame Villain Alliance look cooler, and only because the yakuza were even bigger losers. The arc starts interesting, making the readers think that maybe we're finally going to see some real hero work and have the manga grow in scale, but it almost immediately turns into a completely by-the-numbers raid-the-castle-rescue-the-princess standard shounen arc. And no, killing a newly introduced character the readers barely had any time to get used doesn't really mean Hori has guts, every battle manga does it.
Oh okay but it's American viewers that is being recorded, resulting in those rankings right?like Sharkbait said it's page views so I imagine stuff will mostly be the same (Sumo might go down and AA/JK might go up once they get more backlog for example). It's just the "Hottest" bar on the side but I filtered out the Jump SQ, Jump+, V-Jump, Re-editions and HxH https://mangaplus.shueisha.co.jp/#/updates
Bleach got known to have reached over 100 million in early 2018, though it is not known when crossed that line.100M? huh, when was the last time any jump series reached that. Just how long do you think the series will last chapter/volume wise.
Its not just americans since mangaplus is available in more countries than just america, I think only jpn, south korea, and china, cant access the website and the app.Oh okay but it's American viewers that is being recorded, resulting in those rankings right?
Bleach was 90 million in Japan and 30 million worldwide for total of 120 million. The movie's page announced it.Bleach got known to have reached over 100 million in early 2018, though it is not known when crossed that line.
Before that, JoJo was announced to have passed 100 million in December 2016.
The Arc has the best and most development and characterization for numerous characters not related to the main cast. Kirishima, Fat Gum, Nighteye, Amajiki, Mirio, Rocklock, Toga, Twice, Shigaraki, Mina etc etc all got really good development and or characterization. Compare that certain aspect with previous arcs and it doesn’t even compare. Overhauls character felt incomplete but as a villain he did a good job at raising the stakes and being menacing and ruthless. The art was some of the best in the series and the fights were pretty good as well. The arc has flaws like negating the females outta the spotlight but it’s still the best arc because of the characters and the emotion
. Read other manga or something
I have the raws but horrible upload speed, so I will just post the color page of the cooking one shot, aka Mondai no Ooi Ryoriten. This page says something about Jump Square at the top, so maybe it will serialize there? So did anyone read that cooking one shot yet or has the raws?
