At this point, I can't even tell if you're supporting me or defending him.
Shark's logic is as follows; (made up example below)
Movie industry saw growth of 20% more boxoffice returns month on month from last year. Shark's logic implies that every movie released during the time frame made 20% more because he's using a market wide growth percentage when in reality it could have been just one movie that contributed to the whole growth while everything else failed.
Translation - He uses a generalized market number for a series when that series could be selling just a 100 copies a volume.
Whoever posted the comment about Jujutsu was optimistic based on daily rankings from a site that has always provided a vague idea where a volume stands. But that said, it always provided a basic idea of how good or bad a series is doing. Sure, the first 4 series might sell monumental and this might sell peanuts in comparison (which is why I mentioned their choice of word of "impressive" might be too much).
Going by a ranking that has given us a decent level of idea where something stands (when using it to compare to actual numbers we get) is far better than what Shark seems to be doing, which is push out numbers from wherever possible with nothing in hand.
I'm not defending anyone. I'm talking about your logic. You are completely talking about anything else, except the things you said. So much dodge...
Why are you explaining me Shark's logic? I know how he baits. I know how he exaggerates. The question is why did you too? And you are dodging it by talking about thing that I didn't even comment on. The released info on "sales" from couple of websites has actually no sales data, no numbers, just mentions some titles. We are completely unaware of which how much it sold on that website and on ALL websites at all. You cannot make a statement in digital sales from that info, yet you made. Don't go talking about what's Shark's logic, how someone was optimistic on Jujutsu's daily rankings. YOU are the one that brought up the digital "SALES" from websites "based on actual available best seller lists." No numbers, NOT all websites, NOT shueisha site. Get the issue? Drawing conclusions from such info is beyond wrong and inaccurate. Because if we use that best sellers list: One Punch is only 1-2 positions before Black Clover, so they sell almost equally? On that site, yes. On all sites altogether, unlikely. That's the issue I'm talking about and that's why basing argument on that data is beyond flawed.

About this sex crimes. People will never stop talking about them XD For Shimabukuro it was like 20 years ago. A bit different time, with some law about child prostitution in Japan starting to change during that time. Move on already. There is a bit difference in being attracted to 16 or 8 years old. Doing something is a crime, sure, but the 16 years old offering the service is also at fault (also often they hide their age). While 8 years old child pornography is usually only one side at fault, as those children are not offering it as service. Anyway, it's a crime, it was 20 years ago, move on.
"Shimabu trying to sleep with a 16 year old is basically child marriage, without the marriage." rofl -> so sleeping with women is like marriage, but without marriage HAHAHAH Good one! Guess logic is missing today.
