I just took a look at currently ongoing Captain Tsubasa manga and seems NOTHING has changed, wtf?? How does mangaka not get input from editors, or Japanese people dont mind this at all? So confused.

Grandfather's clause, basically. Tsubasa is a very famous and influential work that inspired many pro players of the sport, so people let it run because of that.

Ok guys. Maybe they're just the Longleg (and Smallhead) Tribe from One Piece.

Then why'd you quote it? : p

I can edit if it perturbs you so, but just edit the quote first.

Edit: Or did you mean the pic (though that too has been quoted)?

Oh so that's from where the idea of slenderman was developed.

"I want to know what sets their hearts on fire" was the most inspiriting quote in the first chapter of a shone in over 14 years. Thank you, Beast Children.

Honestly, Oda has been doing the Tsubasa length leg thing with his females in all the recent CPs too. The last few were disturbing af.

War flashbacks to that ninja CP.

Worth noting, though, that the legs alone aren't what makes the Tsubasa cast look grotesque. It's the completely fucked up proportions in general, with all the characters having incredibly long legs and bulky torsos with tiny heads.

Ya'll talking about anatomy reminded me of Toriko and how disproportionate his face was to the rest of his body.
One of the main reasons I was so put off by the series early on.
I don't really see it tbh, maybe with Zebra but even then not really an issue.
What are the chances of Kimetsu surpassing World Trigger in sales?
Low
80℅? Pre-anime KnY is bigger than Pre-anime WT. KnY anime boost is alot bigger than WT. Now better question, Can KnY beat pre-anime MHA or pre-anime TpN?
Did you not see what numbers WT is doing now? It's at an all time high. Also just because pre-anime of another series is higher than another that doesn't mean they'll always beat it in post-anime sales.

It's unfair to compare but as it is, WT has a better boost. It reached a new peak in manga sales post-hiatus too I believe. Has Kimetsu beat pre-anime Toriko yet? Let alone MHA/TPN.

The exaggerated body styles is the charm of OP character designs. I don't have issues with the females character legs or super slim waist. I actually find it attractive, even in the ninja themed CP.

Yeah probably, The cut off for 2008 was 393k, and 2009 was 310k, and 2011 was 545k. Places where Toriko volume pops up are:

in 2012
