Each time someone here talks about Yuuna "ending", the actual number of chapters left gets doubled

Nyoup. Not in this current climate, anyway.Yui has reached rock bottom... Really bummed out about it since it seemed like it was just starting to find its footing. Watching a double harem could've been pretty fun ride. Has there ever been a series that was able to bounce back from a start this rough?
Dang, that's what I'm afraid of. That'd be crazy if it pulls off a sales miracle, but I know that won't happen. Please let a comedy live!Nyoup. Not in this current climate, anyway.
Something like Gintama is very much a valid market still (look at Spy x Family), but it's a tough nut to crack. You have to be either really, really smart, or distinctive to get attention. And, as Hungry Marie proved, reputation does jack shit to help.Dang, that's what I'm afraid of. That'd be crazy if it pulls off a sales miracle, but I know that won't happen. Imagine the comments for One Piece's end.WSJ mangaka comments talking about Shokugeki no Soma from issue 29

Meh, each time somebody talked about Hinomaru ending, boom! Part 2 happenedEach time someone here talks about Yuuna "ending", the actual number of chapters left gets doubled![]()

So true. Digimon is another example. Butterfly is an absolute classic. I didn't even watch Digimon besides a couple episodes as a kid and I still get teary-eyed watching it, and hearing the all cast version.Man, Yu-gi-oh has some of the most awesome openings of all 50 years of Shonen Jump history. Makes me hate 4kids more.
Now I'm curious about the actual stats.Or they just didn't push series as hard back then.
You have to not settle for the most obvious conclusions, and put "correlation != causation" into practice more.
I mean...that's almost all of the hits of the current era, sans only Yuuna (which did hit 100k fairly early into its run) and Chainsaw Man (still growing, at this rate could easily hit 100k by Volume 3 or 4).Now I'm curious about the actual stats.
How many series from the 2009-2013 period reached 100K sales per volume or more?
From 2014-2018 we have MHA, Black Clover, Neverland, Kimetsu, JJK, Act-Age, WNL and probably even Dr. Stone when the anime starts.
I split the periods like that because something starting in 2009 would have most of its run in the early 2010s, so I think it makes more sense to consider it a part of a that period.
This is getting downright farcical.
Gintama last chapter delayed for 3 days. Will be out june 20.
LOL The things are like this since the start of Silver Soul arc. Why people start to notice it only now? This is getting downright farcical.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BC on break next week!! Chapter was amazing. praise Godbata. Only downside is almost nothing changed from the last chapter plot-wise but I think Tabata's health is really fucked rn and that might have to do with it. Ganbatte!!!!
Old series sold more without a doubt. Due to a variety of reasons: Newer and more variety of entertainment. Migration to digital. Ever decreasing population of youth. Now I'm curious about the actual stats.

Bruh I never said there was anything with having a break. Godbata deserves some rest.I can't see anything wrong with the break, considering that the first one was two years ago.
