Sadly no. Darling in the Franxx did 51k in 3 days for Vol 1. Though Spy x Family is the Top 1 Jump+ debut of manga that isn't based on anything (Let's Haikyuu and that Onodera Nisekoi spinoff also did better).
dariling isn't original though anime is first

edit: I just noticed I didn't add "original" on my original post.. derp

Really emphasises how big Kimetsu’s boost was seeing these last two volumes releasing directly alongside Black Clover. And there’s no sign of it slowing down soon. Really impressive.

I had thought World's End Harem had the best Jump+ debut.

That is assuming Shueisha doesn't axe Yui as well. Though there is a possible chance other newbies get to serve as a cushion with Shueisha giving it a 2nd chance to see how is the manga reboot recieved. Though with a 6k Vol 1 start, there is no hope for this to last...
Those sales are not good, but at least it's better than all the complete trainwrecks we've had recently. I think the only one of the recent axe fodder that came close was Higuma(how much did Alice to Taiyo sell?) at 4k 4days, so Kamio Yui is still above. Maybe it's enough to get a chance if reception gets better.

Now that we have sales figures for SXF vol.1, I think it’s time we start having serious conversations on what studio should get the anime 👀

It's doing almost twice of Black Clover, jeez. Maybe it can beat HeroAca in the full year rankings, after all.

Yep. If I recall, both Sayuuki and Yui actually started around the middle before dropping to the bottom. The fact that both Taisei and Beast Children were already bottom 5 before even "ranking" doesn't bode well for them.
It's not about "can", because it 100% will.
According to my Shoseki extrapolations, MHA is now at 3.64m, while KnY is at 3.14m
Kimetsu's backlog alone sells over 150k weekly, with 197k two weeks ago, 210k one week ago, and 220k this week.
MHA won't be behind only if the new volume manages to sell over 750k in the four-six weeks it'll have before the end of the Oricon year.

Are you taking into account the August Volume? Because that would probably be at 600K by November.

Isn't MHA's next volume in October?
If it's in August then the sales will probably be close, but Kimetsu will probably still beat MHA.
But shouldn't Kimetsu also have another volume before the end of the year?

well... based on my numbers....

KNY is at 2,84M (2.89M including fanbook) [not an estimate but you can choose to believe me or not... :3c]

and MHA is at 3.56M at best (probably 3.45M+)
