Just when I thought Kamio Yui was starting to get right on the track (and I restarted reading the manga), it delievered another horrible chapter and resolution to the arc. Dropped #2 and permanently now. Sorry, Shibashi.

F***ing hell, I hate so much how they rushed through Hinomaru’s final chapter, if someone deserved an 3 chapter epilogue in GIGA it was Zumou (spits on Soma) can only hope they announce something in the future wether it is a LN or an extra chapter or whatever. Still, it managed to be a beautiful chapter nonetheless, just wished it wasnt THE last chapter.
Again thank you Kawada for this amazing series from beginning to end, will look forward to whatever you next work is, still think a seinen historical manga like Vagabond or Golden Kamuy from him will absolutely rock, or if wants to stay aiming for shonen demographic maybe Kodansha could snatch him

Okay, I take back all the bad vibes I have ever send towards Tokyo Shinobi Squad... This is some of the silliest, worst written, mean-spirited and at the same time sincere edgy garbage I've seen in a long time and I have tons of fun reading it. Incredible, please stay like this and survive a bit longer, oh ye beautiful trainwreck.

That's sad to hear. Yep, HZ totally deserves the GIGA treatment, not Soma when its huge sales decline and such. I have quite of bit of chapters left but I really wanted like an epilogue with Reina's relationship. That is by far the best ship I've seen in a very long time. Its unlikely but here's hoping to Viz putting out a official release. Otherwise I'll buy the Japanese vols
Btw I took a peak at the final page though. That cameo man lol.

It's sad to see Hinomaru end like this. I mean, it wasn't a bad chapter, not at all, but it really needed just one or two more to flesh out the ending. It's kinda weird, even, how it just needed just a little bit more to work perfectly, but... it didn't get the chance.
Anyway, it's still a great series (and a INCREDIBLE final arc), and I hope to see Kawada back (or maybe in another magazine) with a new story. I really trust him.

Ironically the most positive portrayal of Trump that has been seen in a piece of fiction.
TSS isn't even a good edgy. It's comically ludicrous without a story to drive it. And the author is a K-Pop fan.

Tokyo shinobi squad was fantastic and subverted expectations. Amazing. Beast children is a blast but needs to make sora join the team and add more life to people not named sora or sakura.

Well, both Kamio and Tokyo Shinobi Squad peaked their most ridiculous chapters this week. By the way, Double Taisei had some amazing pages. For Saiyuki it seems author knows already its fate, so it's probably going to wrap up but maybe a bit rushed. As for Beast Children, I don't know. It started a new arc but won't probably last long and have some kind of open epilogue.

I read it earlier in the week. Honestly, you could definitely tell it was from the Spring Weapon No. 1 author, but the artwork felt a bit more refined as a whole. Honestly, it could be fairly funny. It reminds me a little bit of that one series than ran in WSC for about a year where a couple kids followed around these little fighting bugs (it sold atrociously though). Not sure if I could see Mori King doing great in WSJ though. David-kun seemed funnier than this, and even that sold poorly
