What is it? i'm curious.Hmm...I actually have a bit of a theory on when exactly WNL ends, down to the month.

Gunjou no Batoro: we want the Vinalnd Saga audience
Book-rankHow do you search for cumulative series sales? I can only find individual volumes
Can you post the link to the total series sales, I can only find individual volumesBook-rank
For a second I thought you were talking about a Wh40k Manga, but that's not the case, right?Man, this color page for Ultramarine Battle is really nice, the art and mc are cool, it sucks Viz will not translate...
Yeah, I'm also going by the volume covers since Fumino, which was obvious to me that the others would get covers since Sensei had her arc and the others got theirs as well. Next one is Ogata and then Uruka. But after that I'm not sure if it's going to be one or two more volumes to end everything.Basically, the last several volume covers have been a singlular shot of one of the girls representing the conclusion to their arcs; Vol 11 was Fumino, Vol 12 was Kirisu-sensei, and now Vol 13 is Asumi.
Going off some basic logic, I think it's most likely that the series will run to Vol 16 and about 142 chapters, with Volumes 14 and 15 having Rizu and Uruka (Uruka's resolution could easily be on Valentine's), then a group shot for the final volume. That would conclude the series at about January.2020, with there being 20 chapters left.
And seeing the color page kinda makes me wish Jump would try a manga like this about vikings and stuff, it looks really cool.Gunjou no Batoro: we want the Vinalnd Saga audience
What is "Wh40k"? I'm talking about the one shot of this week issue, Ultramarine Battle or Gunjou no BatoroFor a second I thought you were talking about a Wh40k Manga, but that's not the case, right?
There isn't that much, really? Going off the ideas of there being 20 chapters left and Uruka's resolution being Valentines Day, there's not much else left in terms of the main plot beyond explaining Naruyuki's father and his, Fumino, Ogata and Uruka's graduation. Maybe resolution to the harem, but I have a feeling that Tsutsui is gonna go the route of keeping it ambiguous (I know for a fact that he hadn't planned a victor from the start).Yeah, I'm also going by the volume covers since Fumino, which was obvious to me that the others would get covers since Sensei had her arc and the others got theirs as well. Personally I'll add two more vols, after heroines maybe one Yuiga cover (I do think he is overdue one arc dedicated to himself), one more possibly him and end girl, and then final volume with group cover; given how Tsutui could still throw in one shot chapters here and there. Just throwing my two centsBasically, the last several volume covers have been a singlular shot of one of the girls representing the conclusion to their arcs; Vol 11 was Fumino, Vol 12 was Kirisu-sensei, and now Vol 13 is Asumi.

But last month alone did 1M+ in series sales. With the spider family arc reaching its climax and the anime having a couple of eps left it could very well catch up. Who knows how big the backlog will be with the final episode.KnY still has close to 2M sales to catch up to TPN
I don't think you'll have to worry about those genres having a vacancy.I don't know about just 20 chapters but it does feel like WNL only has a few volumes left, it just depends on the ration of pure gag chapters to character arc chapters.
The question I think is will it end before Yuuna? Yuuna's also wrapped up most character's arcs at this point, all it really needs is one last serious arc for the last couple then it can end. It could probably finish satisfyingly enough in 10 chapters, it's just a matter of starting the ending process (since Yuuna could go on endlessly on silly fanservice shenanigans).
Would be odd to see them both ending about the same time and having another whole core genre missing from WSJ. No gag series and no romcom essentially means no comedy manga (ideally we'll have a new gag and new romcom by then but there's no guarantee).
Yuuna is an odd one because it always felt like Miura's main investment was the ecchi, while Tsutsui clearly cares a fair deal about the characters. That said, I think 20 for WNL is a reasonable estimate, if just because it was December in Asumi's resolution arc about ten or so chapters ago, and it's now January. Assuming Uruka's resolution is just two-three chapters (it is mostly resolved at this point anyway) and the last volume is pure plot explaining Nauryuki late father and having the students get into their desired collages, that leaves 8-9 chapters for pure SOL, which is more than enough IMO.I don't know about just 20 chapters but it does feel like WNL only has a few volumes left, it just depends on the ration of pure gag chapters to character arc chapters.

Yeah...Yozakura's "romcom" status is based purely on a random comment said to me on discord, and it seems that may have been misinformation on my end, though it is definitely a romance. Mitama meanwhile has zero evidence towards it being a gag manga besides the author, which is a really weak connection.I don't think you'll have to worry about those genres having a vacancy.
Apparently Yozakura-san, the manga debuting next week, is a romcom. Mitama Secureity, the series debuting a week later, looks like it could be a gag manga. That could end up being inaccurate, but I do get the vibe that comedy series are a WSJ staple, and that they'd definitely have a couple to at least replace Yuuna and/or WNL's slots when they conclude.
Kimetsu has the advantage of having a bigger backlog. It's definitely going to end up selling more than TPN overall this year.Impressive as Kimetsu's boost cannot allow him to tailor Neverland, come on, we talk about a manga that was in the Top 10 even before the anime.
The Kimetsu boost is comparable to that of Hanayome (although the volumes of Hanayome are still in the top 50 months after the end of the anime).Kimetsu has the advantage of having a bigger backlog. It's definitely going to end up selling more than TPN overall this year.
For most of manga we want a translation, dont get it cuz they are from noobies... will they ever change this schedule?,,, this will only help and give more hope an one-shot gets a serliziationMan, this color page for Ultramarine Battle is really nice, the art and mc are cool, it sucks Viz will not translate...
