imo, you people are giving amazon too much credit, but whatever...you're free to do what you want

Guess we will see (so it predicts Princess doing well, and 3 Jump newbies doing bad with Futari being the best). I agree with some points you have said though.

it's pretty short but solid a solid love/gag imo, also pretty popular on twitter, so it might become a series in the future

it won Jump Rookie bronze prize for the month of July

the author said he will use the money to turn it into a series

The far left one is a 7 chapters miniseries, so not surprising MangaPlus had 0 interest.

generally amazon is not a good way of measuring audience reception (only big hits looks good on it and everything else look average or bad)

^THIS. We've already seen flashes of his potential for this genre, all he needs is an author who knows what he's doing.

That's why it is interesting to have this information.

We could compare in the future if the positions of the sales are similar (I mean if Futari no Taisei sells better than Beast Children and Tokyo Shinobi Squad).

This could imply that the Amazon ranking has some representation of future sales

There's only so much pre-analysis we can do before it just becomes a waste of everybody's time.

Absolutely on that second sentence. Kind of bummed MangaPlus didn't pick up Dorei Yuugi with 45 chapters scanlated and on hold since 2 months ago, which is a shame. Though it is a bit graphic and leans to seinen territory too hard to be on the service I guess. Or Mutou and Satou.

So I just found out that WSM's Ahiru no Sora will be getting a fricking 4-cour anime adaptation... from Diomedea, one anime studio who isnt so famous to be doing those; while GONZO only managed to give HZ a two cour rushed adaptation...

Yeah... life is definitely not fair...

Oh, this manga looks interesting, I'll give it a read since there's english and spanish translations. Even if I prefer reading in english. lol
