Holy shit,what happen

What happened?Guys, don't EVER use racist terms here again.
I have zero tolerance for that behavior.

Let's go over these points, shall we?Jesus Christ, seriously, you have a series from a author that has like a 100% history of dark and supernatural series, he start a new series that has literally the first page with dark Yui being sealed with supernatural powers, a climax where she violently beat delinquents and stating that there are many of them trying to find her, and just because the manga had the first chapters mainly as a "romantic comedy" (still with battles and supernatural elements happening between) it means that there was no sign or evidence that Shiibashi was planning the "genre shift"? come on, one thing is to like it or not, but blindly trying to refuse something so obvious? of course it didn't happened so smooth, the manga was dying in the rankings lol
he really doesn't need to change his artstlyeMaybe? I haven't checked out the chapter itself yet, but I guess we'll see more going forward.

crossing fingers for Poppy no Negai serializationRandom, but after Neverland ends, I sorta hope that Posuka starts getting request to provide character designs for anime and games.

That ANN article that was linked in your quoted post is not an ANN ranking, it's a report on a Comic-Con International "Best and Worst Manga of 2016" panel. Maybe try to read the article first next time instead of pre-emptive hating on one websiteThe folks on ANN hate Jump series in general. Reading their reviews of Kimetsu is downright cringe inducing.

Nah, the generic harem needs to go out the magazineYui Kamio needs to survive. I don't know you guys, but I'm enjoying it right now and I want to see the harem grow because the art and the girls are fantastic.

"10 years"Lol and this was pretty awk but funny from the recent chapters. RING flopping & Takeshi being half of that 5 years (still good but I think he wanted to have it run for 10 years lol)

I get what you mean but you know very well why being in it is worthy. That something alone will never vanish, dont forget where ya came from or think too lowly of jumpI literally see nothing in the new series this year that make it looks worse than sooo many other failures that were published in all these years, Shonen Jump is like any other manga magazine and the mangas published there are far from being "art" mangas, so i don't know where this idea that Shonen Jump is such a "worthy" place to be published comes from, Shonen Jump never had any "super high standard" when it comes to publish stuff, if the editors see potential in your work, you get published.
Also, can we stop pushing this "Everybody is disappointed with Samurai 8" narrative? right now is totally innacurate, since chapter 8 the manga is only getting better and getting more praise from readers, so is annoying this constant narrative being forced at people's throat like a universal truth.

Ziga, just wtf was the manga meant to be... just killing best girl in ch 1. Mc end up being a non inspiral edge lordSo, which sucessful Jump manga you guys think had the most "axe fodder" vibe in its first chapters?
For the ones I have read, probably JoJo. I don't know how it survived its first part. I love the series, but that first year is terrible to me and completely uninteresting after Zeppeli is introduced.

One that people here will remember very well is Black Clover. The criticism over the series was so great that I don't know how it survived.

i have to say that you are false with that. if you follow shonen & jump for an very long time. you know extacly why it couldnt survive for having an manga like that in its current time.Because the criticism was purely from people who had indoctrinated themselves into thinking shonen was some kind of genre. In other words, people who have no idea what they're talking about.
Nobody was expecting such change because it just doesn't match well with Shiibashi style, he uses dark colors a lot and the atmosphere is always dark. The first part of the series was a terrible mistake and now it has become a very decent series to me although it may be a little late, we will see. It was clear since the beginning that if it was not Shiibashi intention to change to a more supernatural atmosphere (I think it was), it should be. It would be a waste to use the clash of personalities only for comedy purposes. I'm sure the series will have some comedy parts, Nuramago had a lot of them where you laugh a lot, but it was never the main part, the main part was battle between yokai. Therefore, get used to it.1. Yes, Shiibashi has a history of supernatural battle manga, but what says he couldn't change genres? Plenty of mangaka have changed subject matter completely between manga.

Me too, it was shocking, principally because we are talking about Yui in black, Yui in white, dark, etc. I thought it was something about this and I was "what on earth happened?" lolNow i'm curious about what was said, just clicked f5 and suddenly Buranchi talking about racism lol
There's absolutely no reason to think that might happen. MHA has had some incredibly good years already and it never came close to beating OP.Is it crazy to think MHA might beat OP next year?
In what aspect? You need to be more specific although it will probably not happen no matter the aspect. Is it crazy to think MHA might beat OP next year?
If Kingdom cannot beat OP, then nothing else can. Kingdom is the best selling weekly series right now aside from OP (HxH not included) and MHA in my opinion has peaked out in sales. Is it crazy to think MHA might beat OP next year?
Compare different number of volumes and expect to convince people that MHA surpassed One Piece in sales is at least naive. It would be just cheating.possible, one piece will only have 3 volumes release next year. If MHA has the sales of season 2, then it is possible. Given that OP nowdays sell 2 million per volume, give or take 6 mil ~ 6.5 mil
