s8 hasn't even had a volume released already and you seem to not understand the concept of why they pushed s8. Dr.Stone and Toriko got megapushed and their mangakas hadn't touched the level of success Kishimoto had, regardless of how it ends up, it would have been dumb not to push it.

This isn't even me bashing Samurai 8 in this case, just me amused at how Kishimoto's comeback is now going to be most likely in third-place at best for most relevant new series of the year (Chainsaw Man I'd argue is also more popular).

I know I've said this before, but I still find it hilarious that Shueisha clearly had massive amounts of faith in Samurai 8, only for Spy x Family to come out of nowhere and earn the position of the biggest new series of the year before S8 could even begin.

Which 2019 debut are you enjoying most? Is there anything in this serialization year you think deserves to stay?

The Last Saiyuki is what i enjoyed the most, and i don't think even that deserved to stay
S8 might devolope into something i like later when the cast becomes as big as Naruto but for now it's a solid meh for me
Hachimaru is generic, Ann stuttering gimmick got old quick, catman is just there, samurai uncle is there so everyone look better by comparsion

Jump oneshots wise from this year, I really hope Hakutei no Erica gets a serialization. It would be a breath of fresh air in Jump with great art to boot.

I mean...I see relatively little reason why Japan would give I'm From Japan the go ahead or keep Spring Weapon around so long if it wasn't for the kodomo market.

Is Slime Life still ongoing, or did it finally conclude with this double volume release? As for TSS, I think it has the best chance out of the 3 new series to survive a bit, but I think it'll probably have a first chapter ranking almost smack dab in the middle, but then drop until it's bottom...

i read somethings about sites selling their users data and including polling infos to data collecting firms and marketing companies, ever since then i'm extra cautious about what info i put to out the wold

jump have explained in the past they put a gag manga in the end so the magazine can end on a happy note

if we follow this logic, you can see them using gag to temper the mood
for example they don't want the readers to read 1 intense manga following another following another...it's emotionally exhausting
so you can see them using them as streak breaker
basically they're there to add some much needed levity, relief, diversity....

but that's just my speculation

the every serialization must have dark exorcist in it happened more than once or twice
chapters being published with mistakes happened more than once or twice
weird choices serialization choices, failed manga lasting way longer than they should happened more than once or twice
