Someone posted the raws for Toriko Gaiden on youtube of all places lol. It includes the Toriko one shot & a bunch of other one shots that Shimabu did.

I think this one shot was from like 2007 but cant find the first Toriko one shot he did in 2002.

And we are forgetting that the majority of Naruto's fans are in their late 20s and 30s, meaning they might not be reading WSJ anymore and might just solely pick up the initial volumes of S8 to see "what's happening with Kishimoto?" because WSJ has been hyping this up as Kishimoto's return. So, who knows.

That's why I'm expecting the third volume to do worse.

It's still weird to me how the artist for Act-Age is younger than me, and I'm pretty young myself. It's a... strange feeling to be getting closer in age to the mangaka I look up to.

Jump+'s Newton's Flower Buds manga has ended after 30 chapters. The mangaka promised on twitter he will try to continue the serialization on another platform in the future.

I thought we already talked about Samurai 8 Vol 1 v Spy x Family Vol 1. Still, that means it has to sell 104k in a month.

That reminds me, how much do you think Spy x Family Volume 2 will do in a month? 200-250k? The series has been growing at a ridiculous rate, and Volume 1 sales seemed to have been hampered by shortages.

Damn, MHA got another cover? Not complaining, but it feels like Jump is trying to play catchup with the series promotion. That, or Oda confirmed to Shueisha his plans to end OP in the next few years and editorial is hurrying to give MHA more seating as the face of the modern era.

Nah, they just like to promote what's relevant at any given time. They weren't pushing much lately because there wasn't anything new to promote. But now I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't leave the top 5 in the ToC as long as the anime is airing.
