Well yes the big promotion but the small sale is a bad thing...........
BBUUUTTTT

Strategically this huge promotion is both a boon and a Bane. Here let me break it down for you -

The big advertisement, interviews and pamplets together would have costed more than a 100 million yen and let's say the sales of both the volumes are 30k which would any to around 15 million yen and this is not including the ongoing manga expenses so usually if the series performs just like this forever it would have been axed by volume 5-6 , but the company won't axe it by then in case of samurai 8 because of that HEAVY PROMOTION, since the company won't be taking such a huge loss(promotion costs + ongoing costs) so as to minimize this lose they have to continue it as long as the heavy promotion cost has been earned so till that there extends the time of the manga which gives kishi the time he wanted cause if you remember from what he said from the very beginning "Introducing a new type of manga would be very tough and the information dump would be making the readers bored(which is actually happening as he predicted) so I would like the readers to have some patience so that I can make something really extraordinary" But deep down he knew that the readers won't be that patient , but this promotion cost will give him the time he needed for what he wanted to do so by this it will be a turning point of the series and all these if we consider that the series just does as bad for future volumes like now but it isn't the case since the recent chapters of kishimoto have been really interesting and many new people are interested in it so yes........ It was all a mastermind strategy from the very beginning.
Hope it helps.
This made me laugh a lot. This would be such a great twist in a manga or anime for the plot especially for a series like Bakuman; but real life? Nah.

About Haikyuu:
maybe we're getting a Beach volleyball Arc? There's this twitter thread talking about this possibility:

Mitama getting a double chapter is so weird. Could it be that they'll just wrap it or will it be moved to the back of the magazine?

People celebrating Yozakura first ranking, be patient, remember Saiyuki and Kamio's first rankings?

Torture Princess is now fully available on MANGA Plus. You'll love this @Jovan

about time, now do Boukyaku Battery you cowards

Honestly, I think Interrogation Princess should have started in Jump. Huge potential if it was serialized there imo.
Haruhara doesn't do normal length weekly manga also, he have another ongoing manga in Shounen Magazine Edge

What did Yasuki Tanaka do before Summer Time Rendering?

Since both Horikoshi and Shibashi mention working with him.
Horikoshi (HeroAca) Neda (HeroAca Smash) were Tanaka's assistants
Tanaka (Summertime) Shiibashi (Kamio) were Araki's assistants

That's certainly an interesting sales week
Spy Family above Black Clover
SxF first volume hit 300k while still being on oricon top 50, something that Black Clover never did
it's not like SxF surpassed BC
SxF was the bigger title since the very beginning

It's a 200 iq plays by Nak, testing to see if Tatsuya Endo can do a weekly schedule, then gives him a one way ticket to WSJ. :wooo
jokes aside, if that really happens it will be the first time in Jump's history a title moves to it rather from it
and it will prove just how desperate Nak is to find a new hit and will prove all my memes about him being a hack right

No. In #47 will have two chapters for a total of 34 pages.
a double chapters, so it begins....
this is what happened Isobee back in the days
2 chapters that are 12 pages long get published, 1 in the middle and the other at the very end
before putting 1 chapters in the end of the magazine every week

Furudate is a madman, Im excited to see where he goes with this since this ties into his trip he took earlier this year

Also if this is after HS which I think it is, Hinata is now the oldest MC from current Jump, depending on the date he'll be 19 or 20
Mitama is a full grown adult, he's the oldest Jump mc

With MHA introducing the whole
7 Quirks thing
I can’t see how it could possibly end in just a couple of years.

Especially with Horikoshi averaging 13 pages per chapter for the past year or so, and him on a similar “Take a break every few weeks” schedule as Oda
all of heroaca chapters have been either 17 pages or more for months now, and before that they were 15 pages, i don't remember when's the last time he put out 13 pages chapter

I see Tokyo Shinobi Squad surviving for the Giga stuff for a little more. But if there is justice in this world, Taisei won't be axed
TSS GIGA extra was already published a long time ago

Is this a copypasta?
if it isn't it should be, this sharkbait "editors mind games" level of cope

We have a "jump in time" of several years at the end of the chapter. We find Hinata, which we see from behind, riding a bike in Brazil.

Yo, these bits have me emotional af, this chapter will be hard to read. Also, as a brazilian myself, I'm going to look for every reference lmao.

Issue 46 Cover
My Hero Academia Color Spread
Nice cover, but the color spread is the cherry on top. Those colors are beautiful and it's nice to see so many of the best girls in a single spread. Horikoshi feeding us once again.

Shueisha dominates the Top 10 with The Top 8 being Weekly Shonen Jump/Jump+ titles

Oricon Weekly Series Top 10 (30/9 - 6/10)
One Piece
Kimetsu no Yaiba
The Promised Neverland
SPY×FAMILY
Jujutsu Kaisen
Shokugeki no Soma
Black Clover
Gotouge Koyoharu's Short Story Collection
Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai
Kingdom
More than 1 million for KNY as I expected, big stuff. It makes me even more excited for the upcoming weeks to see how well the new volume and backlog keep doing. SXF also doing extremely well, it's a big hit indeed.

What about the Monthly Shonen Jump serializations? and Bastard? It's really rare but not without precedents

MSJ titles moved to WSJ because MSJ closed down and SQ haven't launched yet, it was a temporary situation and those titles moved away again
Bastard was originally a WSJ titles that they kept moving around until they moved it away for good

none of them a compareable to what people are suggesting which is SxF changing publishers due to its success

Maybe im just not counting the speads, but on jamini’s box, it would always list the chapters as 13 pages.
But when I check the Jump app all of them are 15.
It’s only been 17 pages for the past 2 our 3 chapters though. I looked back about 15 and all except for 1 was 15 page
But still, that’s less pages than a lot of other titles

Moving to WSJ is not changing publisher,it is still Shueisha. It changing platform. But it would be very douchebag move if you ask me. Just when Jump+ have something amazing for Jump to snatch it away... I hope not.

Other magazines sometimes have series switch from a low selling monthly to the more popular weekly magazine (often with a reboot).

Shuiesha's not going to do that though since they want Jump+ to be a competitor for WSJ, not just a side site for stuff rejected by WSJ or in testing for it. Spy x Family is a big new face they can use to promote their site.

THANK YOU.

I've been searching for this info like crazy, but I couldn't find confirmation that Tanaka was Araki's assistant. Then that means that there's only two degrees of separation between Horikoshi and Araki. It was a JoJo reference all along!

Also you gotta feel bad for Tanaka. So close to successful people, yet so far from success.

So:
-Neverland is ending in 2020
-Kimetsu should be ending in 2020 or 2021
-Haikyuu
with its final arc starting
should be ending also in late 2020 or 2021 (I really hope so)
-My Hero Academia
is starting to give also vibes of entering in a possible final arc
and could be ending in 2021 or 2022.

Will 2022 be the destined year for Black Clover to enter in an Oricon yearly top-10?
I honestly doubt Haikyuu and Boku no Hero Academia are starting their final arcs. Both series still seem like they're not even close to the final arc.

Hinata isn't even close to being the ace and I honestly think the spoilers might not indicate a huge timeskip. It would honestly surprise me if Furudate skipped the second and third year entirely after building up all these teams.

Also Deku isn't even close to become the No. 1 hero either.
There is no way either of them is going to end within the next 2 or 3 years. I honestly wouldn't even be surprised if Haikyuu ends up running longer than Naruto did.

So, do you guys think Haikyuu will join the 700 chapters club where Naruto, Bleach, and Gintama belong?

Just a little more before 700, hinata and his team need further progression with his new team. Not like it's a reset or somehing, I hope the author can pull it off for now. Because doing something like this takes alot of courage and knowledge of story telling, not like he didn't do that before but now it's crazy... he's setting the bar higher and higher of an new revolution of sport mana. Lmao I have no sight for an new sport manga replacing haikyuu, cuz Goddd this is the best sport manga in history
