I've got some data for France if you want.
Please don't use France (and Belgium as well) data to generalize the West. They are outliers, with a develop comic industry beyond superhero and strong advocators of Japonism.

Dunno. For example, in 4chan Jujutsu is probably the Jump manga with less talk (Act-age or Chainsawman manage to get more talk), and in Twitter is relatively minor (people like Yonkou ignore it for some reason). Maybe is just my perception.
Why is it a surprise that act-age or chainsawman got more attention on /a/ than jjk? Csm is no brainer. Fire Punch is a massive cult hit in general and got constantly mentioned on /a/. Csm's punk and rebellious style is fitted with what common /a/ members' taste. Act-age is pretty unique. /a/ would likely to scanlate this manga if mangaplus was not a thing. They did scanlate 2 chapters iirc, before fascan "coincidently" released new chapters, similar to what they did to hinomaru when someone decided to scanlate after fascan ignored it for months. Also, it's interesting /a/ is more interesting in act-age than ever while some people here kept complaining about how 'slow' it is.
Jjk did have dump on /a/, but it rarely got replies. Maybe it doesn't have anything to generate discussion. It didn't have yuribait or cute girl like act-age or the craziness of Fujimoto, I guess.

4chan is the least you should take serious. JJK bombs outside 4tard, twitter is an more reliable source
Do you know what bombs means in this context? Did you mean to say that JJK is popular on twitter?

Yuuna changes editors according to an author comment this week. From Ikeda -> Fukuda (newbie in Ikeda's editor group)
Found an interesting site that had detailed info on the editorial department, updated to Oct 2nd. It's been a while since the previous current editor list was posted, so I TL'd and updated it with this week's info.
An update on this list: Black Clover now has a new editor.

Iwasaki, the newcomer in Katayama team, has taken over BC from teammate Toide. Kind of like how the newbie in Ikeda team took over Yuuna, getting to be the editor on an established series seems to be how WSJ introduces them to the office environment.

Toide now has no known projects in the works, which means they probably will be involved in a series set to debut within the next batch or two.

According to a job listing, the Weekly Shonen Jump editorial department is looking for an assistant for a new series. The work schedule starts from November 20th and the series is vaguely described as a “magical fantasy set in a western style magic school”.

Obviously, depending on the mangaka and the editor, any new series has pretty much an equal chance of being an instant axe as it does of success.

But that basic concept does feel like it has a LOT of potential to be WSJ's next hit. I'm excited to see what this ends up being!

there was a miniseries on GIGA with that setting last year, made by the guy that made Takujou no Ageha

if this gets serialized, he should probably change the uniform for obvious reasons

I totally forgot about Ageha's author, if it's really him (and knowing Nakano, it's probably him), he really took the time to get back, almost 5 years

Is very very very unusual to get info of a new Jump manga that way. I'm thinking maybe the author is a veteran coming back, but dunno.

Of course. But this is irrelevant to the relative popularity of Stone in France compared to other manga as they all get this "japonism" advantage
