Using the suit has been a help for the SHs. Sanji, like Zoro, pushed away his pride to help the crew/Luffy.

Its not even true that Sanji has actually lagged that much behind Zoro. They both specialize in very different things and have grown a lot in those areas. Zoro with armament and Sanji with his observation as seen in WCI against Katakuri attempt.

The raid suit is to Sanji what Enma is to Zoro.

And Lawl at whoever said Hyozo is arguably stronger than Hodi.

I am not denying the capability of the suit, or even questioning whether it is an upgrade. FOr sure its a powerup for Sanji. Even the Zoro vs Sanji part, i've been defending Sanji's side of the argument plenty. So i am well aware of Sanji's capabilities.

I am only making the argument based on how it dilutes his character. I can see the one off where he ahd to help his friends escape... Even recognize the hate it brings from North Bluers like Law.
In any case, Oda is gonna have Sanji use the Raid Suit, and that's ok. But hope he explains the sudden change better than just an perverted reasons.

Its not Hypocrisy. Your reference is false equivalence.
Not everything has to be a Sanji vs Zoro thing. Sanji explicitly stated that he will never accept it. He has shown disdain for his family and the tech that RS is made of is most likely using human experimentation.

Well, yeah, but zoro pushed away his pride for luffy in order to master his craft, haki and whatever else mihawk could teach him. Sanji pushed aside his pride for the aforementioned high tech chikanery in a desperate attempt to make up for the fact that his martial arts, strength and haki was lacking. Zoro became more than he was when he sacrificed his pride. Sanji's character in turn suffered from it. I'd argue praising zoro and dissing sanji over this is perfectly coherent.

He was still immediately outclassed by king though. And it makes sense he is weaker than king though you'd think sanji would at least be able to resist a bit if he got an immediate, easy and free powerup...

Oh right, forgot about that fight. He did survive that with barely any damage though, so there was some resistance. Wasn't he also trying to protect Momonosuke?

Enma for me.

Raidsuit is fine as it is, but i dont like invisible powers to begin with.

And haki is still not any favorite powersystem in my eyes, just way too bullshit.

So i´m going with the mystical sword who drains ones powers.

But we all know the best upgrade was Robin in the beast pirates outfit.

Best upgrade was the Rare Advanced Inner Flow Haki. It’s going to be the best most useful upgrade amongst the rest.

Enma just like the RS is a Item upgrade.
Advance Inner Haki is a skill upgrade.

The skill simply surpass the capabilities of both item upgrades.

The Skill is more useful & stronger than the Sword that cut Kaido..The Skill bypasses the suit of armor high defense.

Advanced CoA easily.

We don't even really know Enma works exactly but it at least increases the power output. I like the fact Zoro mastered the FoxFire style more(though I find it rather strange) because it gives him more versatility.

The Raid Suit isn't that great of an "upgrade", Pre TS it would have been impressive but it's not so much now when Haki is becoming more important in battles. The invisibility is a gimmick and speed + durability boost are basic.

I don't see how it makes Sanji much better, what he needs to show is that he has more offensive power and/or special techniques. Durability and speed were never his problem.

The whole disguise thing still doesn’t erase the shame, disdain & whole history with his family. To simply further his disguise....

Sanji also knows that the RS gives an upgrade, because he’s seen them in action.
