Hi everyone! I've had this account for years but I mostly lurk here as I don't typically have much to say. But tracking manga sales lately has been too interesting for me not to participate (thanks KnY).

Oricon last week

I've looked it up and this is actually the lowest first week sales of a One Piece volume since Oricon started releasing this data back in 2008. The previous lowest one was volume 51 with 1,029,249 in September 2008. That volume however had 4 days of sales compared to just 2 for volume 95 so the latter is probably still selling better.

It's a big drop comparing to previous volumes.

But it's also been selling 100K in backlog for a couple weeks (maybe more, I don't remember). Something like that usually indicates growth.

So it's like it's declining, but also growing in a way? Which is just weird.

Already? I thought S8 would had a couple more volumes before this happened, if it happened at all. Well good for Seduction to rise, not so great for S8. If it keeps that up it will go the way of RxL.

I am not a shipper of that person on WNL, but it was absolutely in Top 5 of that issue for me. The shocking development on the ending helps too.
