Uh yes, a fan also recognizes the defects and limitations of a work that follows, if not, if you end up defending everything with a sword, you can frown on denying even the obvious defects you are no longer a fan, but a fanboy, and those are the cancer of any fandom.

Thats really not the point of my comment, but that you said is a fan and etc but your tone about it its pretty much of a hater cheering for a possible drop in sales because some fans are annoying, this isnt something a fan do.

If Samurai 8 gets an early end, I'm hoping Moue will come back with a Galaxy Gangs serialization and do a space manga right in Jump (i'll never let go). We haven't had a good successful space epic since Cobra right?
What other one-shots from the last 5 years do you really want to see serialized?

Also does anyone remember the one-shot with angels? I think the MC had unique curly hair (although I may be confusing him with an MC from another one-shot). I remember really digging that.

Despite its roughness in places, Gen Osuga's Fantasies has incredible potential if developed and handled well.

I can't wait for Osuga to come back. I loved Golem Hearts. He's really good at creating a strong whimsical atmosphere.
It also did the dad/son relationship far better than Samurai 8.

I'd really like to see Kawada do a traditional battle manga.
Unrestricted to a sports ring and purely human characters I can imagine him coming up with some incredible action set pieces.

I read and appreciate a manga, but if I find defects or things that do not convince me I point them out.

In itself I have nothing against BC. And the fandom makes me hateful, and I'm not just talking about reddit ....

Hmmm the fact that you say the past 30 chapters have been mediocre says a lot about what kind of reader you are. You can't call your self a Black Clover fan if all you care about is the fights and don't wanna bother being invested in the lore which is what has been the main focus for a few months now

That would indeed be wicked.
Personally, I would like to see something with non human characters. Like crazy demons or monsters. Something with the power scale of Toriko for example.

If sales continue to fall, I doubt that the study will be of any use.

Then ten years? Seriously ? Even manga like Reborn, Toriko, Dai didn't catch up with them, and they all sold much more.

I would say that already 8 years would be too many.

Honestly Black Clover will probably be one of the series that sticks around after the massive amounts of endings coming to SJ. Demon Slayer, Haikyu, Neverland, Stone, We Never Learn, potentially Yuuna, and any of the other new series that may get cancelled. Tbh, BC, MHA, OP, CSM and JJK will most likely be the leading forces of SJ once all these other series end

I guess it's not really news or anything, but at least something a little bit interesting. Looks like the author of Ping Kong is an old friend of the author of WSJ's Mitama Security. Looks like Comic Jackson has friends in quite a few places!

I doubt Shueisha would let Tabata create a brand new studio for BC specifically if they intended on the series ending within the next few years.

That, plus the recent plot developments indicate to me that they've likely let him establish the series as a long runner. One Piece/Naruto/Bleach level of length? Probably not, but I wouldn't be surprised if the series reaches ten years overall.

8 years max? If things stay stable and the super popular stuff ends then they will need BC to stick around giving Tabata time to write his full story. Which is planned to be way longer than 10 years (from now) btw.

This constant "X more popular manga didn't reach 8/10 years, so of course Black Clover will not" it's quite annoying because it's just a superficial comparison based in nothing more than hard sales, as if editors really think like this when deciding about the fate of a series, "oh you see editor-san #2, BC don't sell as much as Reborn, so of course we can't let it pass over 8 years!".

It's not about who sold more or less, it's about the context of the moment and the expectations of the editors, you don't need to sell X number of copies in order to be allowed reach 8/10 years, unless Tabata screw the story like Tsukuda with Souma or the sales really go down the drain which would force the editors to do something, Tabata can go for as much he likes.
