Ehm no, l'episodio 50 è un filler, e il 49 adatta fino al 136.

Just do two calculations, adapting 2-3 to chapters per episode you can get 25 episodes for 50-52 chapters, 50 for 100 chapters, and so on .....

But I don't think so, going forward with the rhythm proposed above with 100 episodes they would arrive at the Hueco Mundo at the most

You didn't understand, it was referred to the fact that Bleach's remale should cover ALL the volumes released so far before the anime stopped and they are 54. far too many.

When they did the Dragon Ball remake, they did not do it on the whole manga, but only on one part.

But we still don't know how much it will cover
Again, you’re missing what everyone is saying. Bleach, Dragon Ball and HxH are different series.
A lot of Bleach’s chapters are are just fights, and it isn’t very dialogue driven.

As someone said above, the first 21 volumes of Bleach were adapted in 50ish episode.

If we ignore the fact that the later chapters of the series are even less dialogue heavy and more fight focused than the early chapters, and went with a 20 Volumes = 50 episodes pacing, than the series can be adapted in a little over 200 episodes.

They did the whole thing, but it wasnt a remake per se, they just used the same footage from the original Z series and cut filler but it did "adapted" the whole DB manga.
I think he means that they didn’t do Dragon Ball AND Dragon Ball Z. So he’s saying that Kai adapted about 24 out of the 42 volumes in 160ish episodes

I don’t think it’s crazy to assume that 10 movies are planned. Often plans that are that far in advanced don’t play out as planned.

It sounds like Yonkou is just freaking out over reading the new chapter releasing this Sunday, which spoilers for should be leaking soon.
Which I’m guessing the plot takes some sorta of turn that’ll show that the series could last way longer than we initially expected.

People are questioning him in the comments about his claims that “MHA has a loooooong way to go”, which I think triggered his “10 films” post. Which is him basically trying to say “TOHO, at the very least, WANTS to make 10 movies, so that shows that the series could potentially run very long”.

Also, we’ve been getting a lot of any post-manga movies for big franchises in the 2010s and probably in the 2020s(Naruto, Dragon Ball, City Hunter, YuGiOh). I doubt Heroes Rising is the last planned movie, and I would think it’s crazy that the production Committee would want to continue making movies as long as they continue making money, even after the manga ends.
Idk man even kung fu panda only ever had 6 movies planned

People do remember Mashle is by a gag mangaka, right?

Also, I just realized, "Mashle" is "Mash" + "Battle". Cute.
I thought it was "Magic" + "Muscle" lol (Japanese romanization tings)

I don’t think 10 movies are in production already, or that it’ll even happen. But I’m sure they plan on continuing making more and more movies as long as the series continues to run and the movies keep making money.

What are some other series you'd like to get updated remakes?
Ninku is one in particular I'd love to see with a new adaptation. One that also adapts Second Stage.

Shaman King would be great, but with Takei having sabotaged its recent attempt at a remake, not to mention none of its sequels managing to run more than a year before ending, and the whole rights holders weirdness makes it super unlikely.

I also really wouldn't mind seeing a fully new adaptation of Dragon Ball with super tight pacing. Despite the edits, Kai feels drastically drawn out compared to reading the manga, still, still uses the dated early 90's animation, and only adapts 2/3 of the series!
I feel like ES21 could have a GREAT anime if someone put a studio and staff really interested in it. There are a lot of really cool visual concepts in the manga.

I don’t think we’ve seen any Shonen series that was a phenomenon get a movie adapting a major arc during its anime run like we have with Demon Slayer.
Gintama is adapting a manga arc, but it’s pretty much done with the series and is adapting final arcs.
technically the Monogatari series with Kizumonogatari. Not sure if one would count it though as the manga in Shonen Magazine didn't start until after the movies were all out and I don't know if the novels were ever classed as "shonen"

Speaking of the Yonkou MHA movie rumor, I wonder if Demon Slayer making the Demon Train arc a film rather than a part of the tv anime could start a trend. As well as the Made In Abyss Movie

I wonder if big story arcs from Shonen anime getting adapted in a film rather than in the series could be a thing we see happening more.

I’m sure Demon Slayer and Made In Abyss isn’t the first time this happened, but Demon Slayer is the only action Shonen and only Jump series I can think of that did this.

Is there any arcs from Jump, whether they’ve already been adapted, or waiting to be adapted, that you guys could see working well as films??
Well although it happened in the anime Gintama got the Benizakura arc done in film as well. And some done in live action too though I can only remeber the Shinsengumi Crisis arc live action.
--- Double Post Merged, , Original Post Date: ---

Not necessarily saying that. Just asking, is there any arc from Jump that you would(or “would have” if something that was already adapted in the tv anime) like to see adapted as a film, rather than being adapted within the TV anime, like the upcoming Demon Slayer movie and Gintama movie. Movies that aren’t just big budget filler and actually material from the manga
If memory served me right both My Hero Academia's first 2 films are canon. I think the first film take place between season 2 and 3's arcs. Don't know where the second fits in yet but it is canon. Nines (the main villain of the film) was shown in the manga.

Uhhh so although its not exactly what you are saying it kinda like Horikoshi is allowing films to be made of arcs he can't be bother to do to save time in the manga? :P

Wait, is the train arc only being adapted as a movie or as a tv arc as well?
That's cool though. Easily one of the arcs that lends itself quite well to cinematic adaptation and my favorite of the series as well.
It's just gonna be in movie form cause it's too short

So, regarding the Zipman question, I feel pretty confident in saying the series isn't going to work.

While I know some people here are enjoying it, the pacing has been pretty slow, the story and characters aren't very interesting, and it feels very murked down in standard battle manga tropes. It just lacks anything to really grant it a truly dedicated readership.

I’m specifically talking arcs from the manga where it’s first and only adaptation is the film.

It's why I will always love Zaraki Kenpachi. He was the character that knocked pretentious people off of their thrones. That, plus I always love the berserker types.

Also, HxH up until 2011 only adapted the end of the York New arc and the Greed Island arc as a series of three OVA's.

The Hades arc for Saint Seiya wasn't adapted in the anime, and only the 2002 OVA.

I mean, without the filler Bleach would be significantly shorter.

HxH(2011) was 148 episodes. Plus I’m sure it would be significantly longer if it weren’t for HxH amount of hiatuses and them running out of material to adapts.

So I don’t see how Bleach would be a problem to remake, assuming a studio and staff were up to the task
A reboot would be bad though. Do you really want to say good bye to that classic fucking masterpiece of a soundtrack the Bleach anime had 😭😱 And the original anime despite the filler had so many things done well. If it got reanimated the fights might now be as good!

Cobra's movie if that counts.
True. I was more so suggesting whether or not it could become a modern trend going forward with Jump and extremely popular Shonen if the Demon Slayer movie is an insane success, since the movie will is adapting a beloved arc, and is required viewing before watching the probable Season 2. Not so much that it wasn’t done before, even though I personally couldn’t think of a series that did it.

I agree, the original anime is perfectly fine, the animation were really good and high quality for almost the entire 7/8 years of production, all fights were perfectly well adapted, top notch soundtrack, even the filler arcs were very decent, i prefer much more the staff focusing totally on the last arc in order to make it perfect instead of wasting time animating everything for the second time. Not to mention how many things can go wrong in the decision of doing a remake, specially considering a manga with 700 chapters.
