I don't see how fodder Spriggans that don't have Dragon Slaying magic can even touch them

Huh? Compromised Jacob was defeated by Natsu getting serious even before was holding back against Natsu too, that is the level of threat they posed, and Jacob was nerfed against Mira who had time to recover.
