The strawhats have killed people before though. Specially zoro. It's not common for them to kill and not all of them have done it but it has definitely happened.

Zoro's killed people but Oda hasn't shown that happen....
And that's my point, he'll stick to that narrative.....

It's still crazy to me that people think Zoro would be the one to kill Kaido when he hasn't has any interaction with him at all. I don't think he has even seen him. All the stories he has been hearing has been about Orochi.

Luffy on the other hand is the only one outside of the Scabbards to have a personal grudge against him. He got KO'd by him which if you ask Luffy doesn't count because losing to him means death.

That's a good point, zoro's connection to the story seems to be more on the orochi side of the equation. Add in zoro's shimotsuki connection and it makes sense to think he would be the one to handle the samurai that serve orochi while luffy deals with kaido. At some point the two are heavily connected of course but ultimately orochi and kaido aren't one force, they are two forces working together.... So far the story has focused on taking on kaido but wano's military is bound to actually show up at some point.

You're first problem is doing hours of research. Here is my "hours of research" - this is a shonen manga and the main character is Luffy and he's beaten ever main villain and has been shown training to beat the current villain and therefore he will beat him.

Took me 10 seconds, and I guarantee you I'm right.

I'm pretty sure that is a translation error and the actual text says defeating 100 bounty hunters.

Orochi is classified as a snake and the sword Snake slayer didnt go to Zoro so whoever ends up using Ame will probably end Orochi.
Doesn't mean that Zoro wont participate against Orochi but he simply isnt any challenge for Zoro.

Enma isn't called Dragon slayer either so why should only one sword have a connection?
