No, he was not in terrible condition. Zoro did not take Luffys damage in terms of hits etc.

Lies have short legs, mizzo-kun. :kappa

And no, he screamed from a bit of pain and paralyzed from the rest. Luffys merely slept :kappa
If he was paralyzed how did he manage to cross his hands and stand like a badass and still speak? :yoda

DOnt diluate something that is amongst the greatest scenes in OP.... Zoro standing and saying "nothing happened" is one of the coolest moment in OP, if not the coolest.
So you are saying he stood there for 8 hours or so, because he was paralyzed? Really now? Zoro kept his end of the bargain, cos he is a man of his word. Kuma agreed to leave Luffy alone if Zoro absorbed all his pain, and Zoro kept his end of the bargain. So Zoro did absorb all of Luffy's pain, plus the damages he encountered and stood there bleeding nearly to death only to shrug it off like nothing ever happened....

I am usually taking down ridiculous Zoro vs Luffy arguments cos Luffy > Zoro, by a large margin in the current state. But to argue that Zoro didnt take Luffy's damage and didnt handle it as well as Luffy could is plain ridiculous.

Pain and suffering i.e. fatigue not absolute damage. Zoro did not have to house the shadows or actually take physical blows, the mechanics are completely different.

Yes, that's how paralysis works. You don't move. He did not shrug it off like nothing happened, that was an anecdote. He was trembling still when they found him and could barely speak. That is not shrugging something off. He simply didnt want to explain himself.

Not trying to dilute the scene, it is badass yes but no need to blow it out of proportion either. Saying things like Zoro took all of Luffys damage (I mean different mechanics but okay) and shrug it off like a champ, is completely overstating what happened.

Also, most of Luffys pain and suffering was from absorbing shadows. Moria didn't exactly push Luffy to his physical limits in the manner Lucci did. That was Luffy with newly formed gears that were actively harming his body.

After that scene with zoro taking in the stuff luffy removed we see luffy moving around just fine.

If kuma had taken merely pain and suffering then luffy would not have been physically healed from his injuries after the procedure.

Luffy has gotten up from literal physical batterings in every single one of his fights. The only things that ever put him out are exhaustion or his enemy going down.

Him being able to move means he is no longer exhausted I.e. free of fatigue. Not that he isn't damaged.

Tldr: Damage has never been a reason Luffy can't move. Always been exhaustion.

Well, yeah, but the point there is that luffy was largely healed after this. Otherwise he simply wouldn't have been fine. Zoro pretty much exploded when he took the thing kuma extracted from luffy, because what he took was actual physical damage. As in, pain alone wouldn't cause someone to gush out blood like a character in a tarantino movie.

I believe Zoro took the stress of Gear 2 on Luffy's body.

Rob Lucci said Luffy pumps the blood on his body to increase his metabolism, and a normal person wouldn't be capable of that.

That would be consistent with Zoro injuries, because his blood was literally pumped out of his body.

Which physical blows? All 3 of them that Luffy took in that entire arc? :kappa You should check facts before talking like that mizzo-kun.
Zoro dwarfed Luffy's endurance that day and most Luffy fans still haven't recovered from that feat going into Zoro's favor by a huge margin.
Another thing people cant stomach is Zoro ending fights with one clean slice and Luffy needing hundreds of hits to win or pull a draw by standing up. :toc

Was Luffy still standing after absorbing Shadows? Or did he bleed out his every pore shivering in pain and unable to fight?

Your second point is silly given that Luffy has always fought opponents significantly above the ones Zoro fought. Zoro has rarely fought any actual powerhouse.

The moment Luffy fights someone not on his level, it ends with one serious punch. Same as how anyone in the OP verse can stomp someone weaker than them with a couple if hits. But hey, Zoro is special for fighting weaker opponents than Luffy.

P.S. Im sure we will get to a point of "we will see soon" from you as any discussion with you always derails into.

Lmao, Zoro was shaking before he even took the pain bubble, he was at his limits already, his body was giving up. All that Luffy endured, Zoro endured on top of all the damage he himself already accumulated which by no means was insignificant considering that he was close to death already.

LoL, now you resort to downplaying Zoro's opponents and that's why his opponents go down in one hit and not because he is a lethal swordsman... Did you close your eyes when reading Kaido vs Oden where Oden was about end Kaido in 2nd hit? Lethality has not met Luffy while its personification is in form of Zoro.
Was Oars also weaker than Luffy's opponents? Was Kuma also weaker than Luffy's opponents? Was PX-4 also weaker than Luffy's opponents? Dream on...
Yes, exactly, we will see soon. Wano is Zoro's territory, he has already done more than Luffy fight-wise and it will continue that way.

Jesus. Zoro was bleeding out of every pore and shaking from the pain his body was in. When he met Kuma he was shitting his pants.

K. Lets make this easy. Name every single opponents Zoro has faced throughout the series. Let's compare them to the opponents Luffy has fought.

Man's tryna argue the MC has fought lesser or equal opponents to his subordinates you know.

Did you close your eyes when reading Kaido vs Oden where Oden was about end Kaido in 2nd hit?
Oh nah, I just wasn't being biased when reading the chapter. Oden got one shot. Kaido was quite fine. I mean, its not like Oden marked Kaido... Not sliced half his chest off. But im sure you saw different.

Was Kuma also weaker than Luffy's opponents? Was PX-4 also weaker than Luffy's opponents? Dream on...

Luffy literally one shot a pacifista, one punch.

Zoro fought Kuma? Are you serious right now? Is that why he didn't even try to fight back when he saw him in Sabaody? The guy practically shat his pants twice in the presence of Kuma.

Since Zoro ends all his fights in one slice, I wonder how Kuma was able to stomp him so quickly even after being sliced.

Again, please list all of Zoros opponents and we can put them against Luffys.

Don't "well see" as a copout when you've run out of corners to back into. You claim something, can't prove it, "we'll see" and then repeat the cycle.

Also last time i checked, Wano was Kaidos territory but i can see how Kaido sounds like Zoro. They do share an "o" at the end of their name after all.

But if this caused blood to gush out of his body then wouldn't that mean zoro experienced the actual gear 2 effects rather than simply the after effects? Luffy didn't just take damage from his gears during the battle against moria.... The battle dragged all night and through it luffy fought moria, oars, zombies, took in the hundred shadows on top of using gear 2 and 3 simultaneously. If zoro simply took luffy's injuries without actually going through the stuff luffy went through this would make more sense. mostly because if zoro actually went through gear 2 or 3 either his insides end up with an homogeneous paste like consistency or he inflates and explodes. And if he goes through the two of those simultaneously he'd definitely be a quentin tarantino character.

Mizzo-kun pay attention, I dont need to explain basic things here, I am talking about PX-4, that is a pre-TS Pacifista against who Luffy couldnt do shit alone.
Yes, Zoro actually fought Kuma in case you dont remember, while his captain was already out due to damage he took. The reason he didnt fight him in Sabaody is because he literally ate a laser shot from Kizaru himself while Luffy was spanked around from Sentomaru.

He never sliced Kuma, you really arent reading the same thing I am. Enjoy the time left until the fights begin, Zoro's age is upon us.

Good luck with your Bellamy bet and if you think Zoro is losing to any swordsman, you havent been paying attention since last 20 years.
Wano arc is one big salt mine and it didn't even properly start the production yet. I know I will need tons of popcorn for what's to come.
I said maybe. Not 100% about it, but not farfetched as he did stop Zoro before yet he should be ok someone to kill Orochi, but choose to always stand in the way. Just saying.

Whether he fights Zoro or not, your spouting Zoro can fight through Orochi, King or Queen, and beat Kaido himself? Nah impossible especially last 2 given his fight history. Oda knows how to powerscale. He not jumping someone who fainted from nerf pleasure to harming and defeating Yonko even with training. Too big a jump. He stopping at Orochi or YC, but doubt he be good facing YC and Yonko in a war with no rest to breathe.

Luffy was stabbed. Katakuri pierce his rib side. He still kept fighting through that though.
Not against Cracker.

Didn't Luffy say he felt completely all right? One would assume that means no damage as well.

No, but Cracker is able to cut through his arm and did get hurt by his attacks during hours of fighting. He wasn't easy opponent.

Zoro did not fight Kuma. He got absolutely stomped. That is not a fight. It's an embarrassment. You call getting stomped and outclassed a fight?

Just list Zoros opponents please.

So you did close your eyes during that time, I see... Since you missed it, Kaido was in terrible shape from single slash, you can see his face. What happened before Kaido one-shot him? Oden was going for another clean hit and a distraction saved Kaido, lmao. "I wasnt biased", made me laugh.
Nope, Kaido was not in terrible shape. He literally got up, swung his club and Oden was done. One. Shot.

Odens words are "if I can't beat him, no one at this moment can" (paraphrasing). But I'm sure that doesnt match with your headcannon.

Link the chapter of Zoro beating/fighting a PX-4.

This is getting ridiculous, Zoro. Did. Not. Fight. Kuma. That was not a fight, it was a lesson in gaps. And even if you consider it a fight, the result was a clear stomp.

But Zoro has best endurance and is best boi, how can a measly laser make him practically shit himself against someone he can "fight"?

Let's do something very simple. Come up with a list of opponents Zoro had fought and won against and Il come up with a list of opponents Luffy has fought and won against.

He never sliced Kuma, you really arent reading the same thing I am. Enjoy the time left until the fights begin, Zoro's age is upon us.
He tried to cut his shoulder only for his attack to do absolutely jack shit. Again, he was stomped all over the place.

That is simply a lie. Why are you disagreeing with manga facts? Is rubber superiority that much afraid Mosshead?
Zoro did not fight Kuma. He got absolutely stomped. That is not a fight. It's an embarrassment. You call getting stomped and outclassed a fight?

Zoro did fight Kuma and no, he wasnt getting stomped. Either re-read the fight or post panels to support your claims.
Even if you dont count Kuma because rubber-man couldnt stay conscious due to damage he took, Oars and PX-4 are still the strongest opponents from pre-TS and the rubber Jesus alone did nothing against those, Zoro fought both just fine and even did more fighting against Oars.

Kaido was in terrible shape lmao, you literally can see his facial expression. Being in terrible shape doesnt mean you cant fight back.
Zoro was close to death and still fought Kuma. In case you missed, Oden would have won easily if there was no fake hostage distraction and that is not my headcanon, that is a fact.

Link the chapter of Zoro beating/fighting a PX-4.

Do you not remember this?
Yes, Zoro did fight Kuma and he wasnt stomped, re-read the fight so I can stop repeating myself.
Post panel of Zoro shitting himself in front of Kuma.
I just listed you the strongest pre-TS opponents and your argument is dead, you got nothing to demonstrate the superiority you speak of.
He tried to cut his shoulder only for his attack to do absolutely jack shit. Again, he was stomped all over the place.
So, he didnt cut Kuma, as I said. And again, he wasnt stomped. Wano will be really hard for you I guess, not just you tho.

Why are we debating Luffy vs Zoro? It's pretty obvious who is stronger out of the two at least at this point in the story.
