I imagine we might get more information one the anime is officially revealed at the livestream. I'm not sure, though. There was the year 2021 mentioned in the leaked pages, so I assume that the anime will be coming back in 2021, but none of the leakers took note of that when leaking the news, so I might be wrong about that.

Yeah that's what I could tell from the leaked pages as well. 2021 for the final arc anime and 2020 for Burn the witch.

This. The failure of S8 might have wounded his pride a bit especially given how much it was pushed so he'll probably do short series on another platform. As long as he doesn't wind up like Takei, Watsuki, and Sawai he'll be fine.

No. The SQ one-shot was really weak and hard to take seriously given its subject matter.

So the Burn the Witch serialization sounds like more of an anime tie-in than an honest attempt at a new series by Kubo.

A little disappointed, but I guess it's to be expected. Also, it just says that the serialization is a miniseries, right? Not the anime?

Considering the studio never made a long running anime before, BtW anime will probably be short too. Kubo is pulling a Level E.
