Well I finished Adam v. Zeus. This was a great fight and better than the first imo. Initially, I was underwhelmed as Zeus was doing real impressive feats, able to strike opponents so fast that other gods couldn’t see, but Adam was casually evading. I was concerned that the Gods would downplay this as maybe Zeus was past his prime and that Adam was bland. But, holy hell that backstory was awesome and as I said before, Eve. I now stan final form Tarzan, much respect. The second half of the fight was freakin awesome, like unleashed Jiren v. MUI Goku. Final form Zeus reminded me of Netero’s 100 hand, but obviously many many times greater. Adam was able to take those blows even though he was overheating and is not a god. In the end, Zeus won, but I feel the tide is turning.

For the human fighters I cheered for Sasaki the most. Posiedon needed to be humbled. I like how they added an extra brother to Greek mythology to give him some hype though.

The subtle retellings of history as we know it is pretty cool. Satan being a perv was hilarious.

Best fight imo was Thor vs Lu Bu. Adam vs Zeus a close second. I didn't like the Jack vs Heracles fight simply because there is nothing that could ever make me feel sorry for Jack. The boy? OK yes, his mother was trash, but the serial killer? No. I wanted Heracles to win so badly. Like you guys I'm hoping a different pantheon is featured next. The Greeks need a break. Loki should go next.

This is only a rough calculation, but the spoilers for last chapter came approximately the 25th of March, so I guess among the 20 something of each month.

Jack the Ripper vs Heracles was my most favorite. (I'm not a huge fan of brute exchange, sorry LuBu x Thor)
The sudden London city landscape inside the coliseum reminded me so much of FT's Grand Magic Games.

Don't know why Heracles sided with the gods though instead of allying with Brynhild. If he's so much into justice, he'd know it'd be unfair for humans to bear the god's judgment knowing they're defenseless without the aid of the divine weapons.

But hey, plot isn't much of a big deal though.

Caught up. The writing reminds me of Hellsing/Drifters.

Strangely, the first fight was the worst IMO. Liked Adam, Kojiro and Jack, Brunhilde too. The author tried to make Hercules likeable he was too boring for me to care. Among the gods I like Ares, maybe Loki, and that's it. Their characters haven't really been entertaining, though Zeus himself was hype.

I guess Shiva will be the next fighter among the gods?
