[Jammin]

@Jammin your chance to give Mordred 10 points

I normally ignore fun forum tags with extreme prejudice but because it's you asking I'll participate.

One question though. How is Tousaka Rin counted? Are the Rins or Sabers a collective thing or are each counted separately?

That may seem like an insane question but with Fate character ranking that's an important procedural issue.

[Faust]

As I am rly dumb here.

Till when do you need the list?

Here's the Countdown

I've done some research and answering this to my current knowledge.

They will be counted separately.

Sabers (since they have distinct true names) it's easier to separate them:
-Artoria Pendragon
-Senji Muramasa
-Mordred
-Artoria Alter and so on... (haven't counted how many Sabers are there in total)

Rin Tohsaka, this three will be counted separately:

-Rin Tohsaka (Fate stay night)
-Rin Tohsaka (Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA)
-Rin Tohsaka (Fate/EXTRA CCC)

I would still need to consult with @Nii

The more I think about my list, the more difficult it becomes to finish it.

Not really sure how to rate the characters, given the sheer extent of the universe and mediums (Visual Novel, Anime, Manga, Games). It's complicated to give weight to the different factors. Like, there are some characters who did really good with a lot of screentime, while others did similar with less screentime. Then there are characters from the Fate GO game which I happen to adore because they either carry me through the game, have huge waifuness/hype factor or are just extremely cool units in general.

@Nii
How easy/difficult is it for you?

Incredibly hard Didn't even know where to start, and more and more chars came to mind. In the end, I decided to just go with how I feel right now and not try to think about it too hard. I did try to mix it a little bit at least, like one FGO char just had to go in there (you know which one ), but mostly I went with the chars I care about the most. Easily could've made a top 20 or top 30, but you have to start somewhere

[syx]

like one FGO char just had to go in there (you know which one )

I have seriously no idea.

Not joking.

[Jammin]

Don't think. Feel.

Mine was done in like 3 minutes. And a minute of that was me deciding if I should go...

Moedred
Tousaka Rin
Different Rin
Different Rin
Different Rin
Different Rin
etc..

Whether that's what I decided to do that or not.. only time will tell.

Are you talking to me panda?

I mean, one is the ultimate nexus point of waifus, mythology, and bizarre yet fascinating story concepts. The other is a celebration of meaty dudes written and drawn by a madman. They're both strange I'll grant you that.

[Copy Panda]

True true

[Faust]

This is seriously the hardest theme I ever worked on.

Receiving lists from people who only made a list through the anime and receiving a list from people who actually played the game/read the visual novel (a few who exactly know which characters they are nominating) and tallying them is really hard.

Fate/stayed all morning figuring this out.

[Demonspeed]

@Demonspeed I know you've watched more than enough Fate anime

Since there are several verses and stuff. Can I nominate several Rins for example?

[Nii]

Jammin brought this up before, but what "several Rins" exactly? If we're talking about the Servants Ishtar and Ereshkigal, then they definitely count as their own entries bc they're their own characters and only got part of their personality from Rin (and her looks XD).

The only other notable cases that come to mind are from Fate/Extra and Fate/Kaleid Liner. Different universes I guess, so you could nominate a total of 3 different "Rins" (not going to count the Servants).... They're pretty similar if you ask me, but if you love Rin like Jammin and Panda do, then might as well put them all on your list

[Copy Panda]

You can tell this guy used to be a red

[GrySun]

Ugh imagine having a Rin on your list

It's in times like this that I wish MH had a downvote option.

We have a report button which I hear if nothing else is an effective equivalent

Oho!

You thinking of partaking in a little report button abuse?
sounds interesting

[Demonspeed]

Gry's post is literally a crime.

Unlikely, for I don't need the equivalent of a downvote button, but something more severe
