Her entire kingdom wasn't it? At the very least she mind-wiped her sister. It seems to have a permanent effect as well.

I just mean Itachi in that he even has to appear evil to his traitorous (for 'good' reason) and a little more naive Khun brother in Hidden Garden. Appearing to be loyal to the series antagonists. And willing to kill to avoid losing further allies that don't even know how loyal he really is.

Lyb is like an onion like that. Layers, man.

The ones he killed are:
a) The traitor of the Hidden Garden
b) The dumb follower Squadron of Kallavan

The ones he kept safe are:
c) The Hidden Garden on their way to self destruction (Free Lunch was right about something)

I said this b4 but I'll say It again: everyone on Jahad's side here is actually an enemy of Jahad except Kallavan. The rest merely works for Jahad but would betray him in an equal Power war situation. They are mercs, not followers. Kallavan is silly, he is in It for real even tho his clan's History is likely one of waiting for Bam's arrival, so he gets dumped along. They were drawn to this fight eager to see Bam performing, like everyone else, and to betray Jahad. I wouldn't be surprised If It turns out Lyb faked Adori's selection of him and she doesn't know yet he came in someone else's place aftee some scheme by him. Nothing he or Mascheny did can yet be called true Jahad support. Even Yasurach is a liability (offed his master's pet Baylord Dad) and he failed the Wall assignment, unlike Kallavan.

The thing must be where Maschenny and branch head is. It would be really dangerous move by that sniper if the whole thing is a farce to lead Evk to the branch head and get her killed. And I have to say quite SIU move like he did with Bam and Rachel
On a way it might be a poetic end for the arc where Bam saves one of his teacher in expense of other.
What would utterly suck is if both dies
