He went from not being scared of 100,000 Fishmen, to being scared of a silhouette of Monet in the next arc, and now being scared of everything.....again.
It's a complete regression of his character

Dressrosa had Rebecca taking up panels, Bartolomeo's lame gimmick, and the entirety of the Strawhat Pirate Alliance taking up precious Strawhat fights.

At least in WCI, the Strawhats that participated actually go to be involved. Brook coming through with the clutch several times, Nami taking Zeus from Big Mom, Jinbe's official joining, and Chopper...well, he was there too.

Pre TS was SHs and their adventures and post TS has been the world as a whole and things have been played wrt the bigger sphere and not just SH, also establishing gradually the supporters luffy may need in future for fighting against yonkou or any grand battle.
As for SHs participation and involvement, each one of SHs who stayed in dressrosa has had their moments.
Franky's fight and saving of tontattas, zoro taking pica and making way for luffy multiple times, Usopp saving robin and others from Sugar, revealing the darkness of dressrosa and throwing it into chaos, saving luffy and law later once again, Robin getting moments here and there. Nami,brook,chopper's tag tam fight, sanji's moments and most of all , Luffy having multiple big moments.

And Nami taking BM's zeus didn't do anything good to establish BM as a credible threat, instead made her even look ridiculous.

He's still a likable fool (his role) to me and in that respect you can forgive some regression because the character is flawed, but damn, he made me salty in Dressrosa lol

Doffy used Parasite when the fight was almost over
Which is horribly inconsistent with what we have seen from him before.

When exactly ? U forgot the multiple parasite inside the cages.
And Doffy wanted to beat the kids to the ground for making him look weak and he was controlling Bellamy and wanted luffy to fight bellamy since they had just turned friends...it is very much in line with what he did when he first appeared. Sarqiss and bellamy's fight.
So, not horribly inconsistent, on the contrary he has been like tht.

And that's exactly why I didn't care for Dressrosa. It's not just that it was a long, drawn out arc with superflous characters I didn't care for, it wasn't even for the benefit of the Strawhats that remained. That arc was just to set up Luffy's growth as a Yonkou. Necessary, but nothing I was partically interested in seeing play out as it did.

Franky's fight was fine. It was just a fight. I don't care of the Tontatta, so him helping them didn't do much for me. I honestly forgot he did that.
Zoro taking on Pica, again, was just a regular fight. Fine, but nothing unexpected.
Robin didn't get any major moments. Her one time to majorly shine was stolen by Kyros and Rebecca, two of the worst parts of that arc.
Usopp, as already been discussed, had regressed greatly in that arc, to the point where he was about to abandon a crewmate. Him getting haki was cool, but not worth the regression.

To me, the WCI crew had much better moments that added to the overall arc and saga compared to the Dressrosa crew. Their character moments were significantly more well written than anything in Dressrosa. All of this is in my opinion of course.
