I'm sure I could, but in short, I just like her.

Hinata is like 1/4th of a good idea for a character. That's sort of the most I can say for her positively or negatively.

The shy girl from an almost aristocratic and stern martial arts clan is a good base. My only real issue is that there isn't actually anything set into that base. Just a submissive nadeshiko who has no real story or identity as a character without being Naruto adjacent. That said, there really isn't much to truly dislike about her. She's a submissive nadeshiko. She has almost no thoughts or opinions of things that involve anything other than Naruto.

Nothing can really save you in a Kishi manga when he really stops caring. Like Zim mentioned with Tobirama. Even the dead aren't safe. He's more than willing to dig up a corpse and stitch a clown suit on it to try and justify the unjustifyable rather actually try to write a plot that makes sense or have characters take responsiblity for their actions in a meaningful way.

But what do I know? I'm just the last surviving Sakura fan. :feelsbadman

And I respect your opinion (and your salt.). What I've seen of her though, I like. She gets some more focus in "Naruto: The Last" and "Boruto", and what I've seen of her there I like too. I'm not saying she's a profound and particularly fleshed-out character, and she definitely should've gotten more focus in my eyes.

But that doesn't change the fact that I like her character, even if a lot of it is connected to Naruto. I don't think that's anything bad necessarily, as long as it makes sense on an emotional level.
Anyway, that's my two cents on the matter (but don't worry, I didn't put her at first place :3).

I've always liked Shizune personally. She didn't do much, but she was always a hidden badass. Kakashi level kunoichi (at least in part 1), that held her own against Kabuto.

Wish she got more to do.

Well Boruto doesn't count. But yeah, I mean, she has a good character design. I'll give her that. And, like I said, I'm the last surviving Sakura fan. So I'm throwing stones from a glass house over here. Any attempt I make to justify that one is going to come out as...

Oh this theme is so dissapointing. I've been googling and refreshing my memories about Naruto and so much of it has been folded by time. Just now figured that indeed - after Hiruzens sacrifice Monkey King Emma stole Orochimarus special rare sword.

It was never explained how he got it back later. Another plot line that was just forgotten/ignored .

It does continue the meme but I feel like calling me pro-Sakura isn't entirely accurate.

Can a person really be "pro" something when the only way they can justify liking it is indulging in endless "what if" scenarios where that thing could have not been a train wreck? A train that wrecked while carrying at least a hundred flaming dumpsters? Because that's almost exactly where I'm at relative to Sakura. I'm a fan of what could have been if reality was something other than what it is.

Listen, I know it might give you some minor PTSD, but forgetting Temari is rather unforgivable.

And sorry, but Konan kind of sucked too. Another character defined by her relationship to a guy... and another dead guy. Could have just destroyed the Rinnegan when Nagato died, but led Tobi right to it like some idiot.
