What’s so exhausting about generating a top 10 list lol? What do people need a breather for? If it takes longer than 10~15 mins to produce that's on the player, not the host theme choice

That depends on how you look at things. Generating a top ten list sounds rather simple and quickly done at first sight. For some members that might be even true. It's a different matter for me though. Especially when we talk about anime/manga related themens, I always check my complete anime/manga list, refresh my memories here and there (reading, listening, watching), note every potential T10 entry (character, series, arc, OSTs, fights, whatever), have to reduce my initial list - which is exceeding 10 entries most of the time - to ten. And finally, I have to rank them. 10-15 minutes are not enough for me, definitely not.

Do I have to do all of this to such degree? No, but I want to do it this way. The same reason I rarely participate in the Mafia Games. I could easily fulfill the minimum MG requirements (vote + 3 posts), but that is not how I (want to) play MG.

Add the fact that some members play/host the Mafia Game/Sheep Game simultaneously, others want to post in other sections or chat with other people, read manga, watch anime, and so on… then yes... a simple top ten list can become quite bothersome.

and will not be hosted immediately so rest asurred @syx. Best case scenario, you should be the one hosting the unlocked themes in the future though since the success of unlocking those themes is because of you, but if you want to pass on hosting those rounds it's also fine.

Nah, it is fine as long as I can take a break from the current Naruto theme, and as long as the unlockable themes won't be held back to back. In any case, if someone else is interested to host, he can gladly take over one/more/all themes. I'm flexible.

Sure, would love to tell abt her.

Setting - 1 year after the 4th shinobi war ends
Affiation - Land of waves/Kirigakure (Original)

Appearence -Speaking of Kahyō, she has long, curly hair. Her shinobi-attire consists of snow-white clothes and a mask with a hook-pattern on it. In disguise, she wore a long, blue dress. Tht mask is quite same which Haku used to wear.
Abilities/Ninjutsu -She possess kekkai genkai , ICE release. Can form ice from moisture in the air and give it forms from great distances too. Moreover, she can also freeze targets to death causing ice particles to form on their bodies remotely or by physical contact. To nullify it, u have to constantly release chakra from ur body to keep ur body warm and prevent from complete freeaing,, unable to use any other techs at all making u normal person and thus very useful for imprisoning.

History - Before i get into her history, will have to say few things abt the history of kirigakure. Pre MEI's period , kirigakure functioned as per the social classes.
Top - The ancestors and members of clans who formed kiri and have the noble status
Middle - The ones who always allied with kiri and clans , who allied with the founders in past
Bottom - The ones conquered by kiri and assimilated into their villages.

These bottom ones are always distrusted by the village and also the ones who r given missions of sacrifice and the village doesn't care whether they succeed or failed and systematically also tries to get rid of them. they were considered expendable. Always put in harsh conditions and hated by the village. Their abilities are used for only betterment of upper and middle class.
Many of u might remember the BLOODY MIST genin exams tht zabuza passed where it was customary for a genin to kill all his comrades. Ironically, all candidates came from bottom class and they were the only ones tht had to take those exams.

So, many of them deemed to leave the village as rogue and tried to live in other villages as freelance ninja. Kahyo and her husband , with their son started living in Land of waves. (Yep, Inari's & tazuna's village and ironically, they build the first ship for konoha named tobisachimaru).Land of waves hired them for shinobi related works, but all the while, still disrespecting them and considering them a menance like kiri used to. She lost her husband due to tht, who was disheartened seeing tht.
After her husband's death, she left shinobi work doing odd jobs, despite less remuneration. Next , she also lost her son, who was abandoned by his friend and village members when he used his kekkai genkai to save his friend , but was severely injured himself. And to top it off, one of the reasons was there were no doc in the town, as all were hired by allied ninja forces for assistance in 4th ninja war. This was the breaking point for her & she became convinced that no amount of effort would allow her to escape the world's cruelties.

Ryuuha Armament Alliance - It was led by her father garyo and her elder brother Rahyo, who wanted to establish new world order, one where all shld be equals and the freedom shld be controlled and thus, they kinda wanted to follow Madara's ideal.Would not elaborate on incidents of the novel,for someone who wants to read the novel.

But basically, she was part of the alliance and wanted to fulfill their ideas, but she always have had apprehensions and even gave kakashi chance to kill her to stop the plans of her family. She also realized tht , if she succeeds in getting revenge or establishing order, it is nothing more than the position being reversed and fate basically same for one on receiving end with their methods. She actually prevents the wishes of her family fulfilled, which would have eventually thrown all villages into conflicts with each other.

Character - She is a gentle, kind, loving & strong person, who endured a lot before turning to the dark side and loved her family greatly. Even while being there, she never killed senselessly like her father or her brother. She actually let one of the hostages , who had an asthmatic kid go, so tht he can be treated. Though, she had almost lost all emotions post her son's death, she still had compassion and rationality (never let her hate get in the way) . She was rational enough to deduce tht their methods will only provoke senseless deaths putting many in same situation as her.
Still, this is not the end. Once she realizes their faults, she helps rescue hostages and meanwhile loses her brother. One of the examples of her endurance and strength is tht, post their capture, she becomes Master of Hozuki castle due to her abilities to actually render shinobi useless, where her father is held prisoner by her herself. Her being spared death penalty was the condition of kakashi before accepting the position of 6th. Moreover, he was the one who recommended her for tht position due to her abilities + her actually agreeing for tht despite the family stuffs.
So, u could say she decided to move on despite many losses and use her abilities for the betterment of the world, no matter how little it is.

As a testament to her strength, when 5 kages assembled to check hoozuki securities , raikage challenged her to a duel and she avoided all attacks of raikage at half his strength gracefully , even freezing his beard. Raikage lost his beard and became laughing stock among kages and kumogakure, gaining her the approval of all 5.

Spoiler: Those who want to read novel don't read it

Kakashi falls for her and she is the one who also taught him what a parent is supposed to be , which he thanks her for after accepting hokage position. Also, she sends him letters from hozuki castle and so do kakashi too.
Spring had indeed arrived for him.

Tbh, the novel really needs to be adapted, but oh well.

The biggest mistake in the war arc isn't even the Madara stuff, it's that stupid Edo Tensei spell.
Brought back characters like Haku and Zabuza who ALREADY had their character arcs completed, so what was the fucking point in restoring them as enemies
So annoying when you think about it.

Hmm, HAKU and ZABUZA, I find no problems with. they got to learn where naruto stood today and haku was pleased hearing how he was not justa tol for zabuza. Also, like i showed u the pic, kakashi made their end exactly like it was by even adding finishing touches to it making it really poetic.

Itachi was OP as hell, there's no doubt about it. But Itachi is no space/time user, and thus can't jump/run away from one location to another. Obito can teleport to Itachi's vicinity whenever he wants. Besides, we have never seen Obito physically near Itachi after the Uchiha massacre, have we (feel free to correct me)? That was probably the last time they ever met in person. But yes, if there is one shinobi who could locate/trap Obito, then it would be Itachi.

What bugs me the most is that Itachi even activated his MS against Naruto. That is one hell of a plothole, because he knew what would happen, and thus the mechanics of Edo Tensei should have prevented him to activate his MS. That doesn't make sense at all.

Remind me again why Naruto got Minato's super speed after mastering Kyubi Mode? Heredity?

Remember the speed boost when naruto used 1st tail or 6th tail ? Kinda power o kyuubi chakra, enhancing abilities.

Why did Minato instantly master the full Kyubi mode when he wanted to? Heredity? .-.

Yin was cooperative after resonating with yan + Minato had no hatred, so he was able to use them and what would kyuubi even do taking over dead person, so he didn't get in the way.

Remember that stupid bird? He would have literally died if not for the fact that he summoned a hawk out absolutely nowhere, in spite of the fact that snake summoning was his thing. Why? Because Kishi was trying to brand his team from Snake to Hawk because... brand management. In a manga full of terrible awful writing, that was a moment.

Chiyo I would say was also a true shinobi character and managed it without having to buy contact lenses in the thousands.

How he achieved was in naruto jinraiden novel.

And also had quite the student

I had him on my list but took him off. Amazing design and was definitely cool, but ended up kind of feeling like he was thrown into the manga only for that reason.

The mechanics that - as an Edo Tensei - you do as commanded. You act and react based on those commands. That's how Edo Tensei works. Itachi was ordered to fight/capture Naruto and Bee. We can now play the game of semantics or fool ourselves by saying that Kabuto gave him a certain level of free will, but it doesn't change the fact that the command was still in place and activating the Mangekyou Sharingan in front of Naruto with full knowledge about the crow/Kotoamatsukami is a huge plotjutsu-hole. Or since when do Edo Tenseis run right into an obvious trap (unless commanded of course).

It's silly. I wasn't even aware of this for a long time. But it shouldn't have been possible for Itachi to activate MS there.

I do like this Kimimaro pick though. He's one of those characters like Chiyo that always sort of showed of how good Kishi could be in a short story format when he really tried. That whole Sasuke pursuit arc is some of my favorite parts of the whole manga for that reason.

Him fighting Rock Lee and Garra together with their history was such a good story idea. Then add to it that he actually had nice deep motivations driving him and it was just so solid.

Hmm, u r quite misunderstanding the command here.
1- Free willed ones like sai's brother had their soul passed, so he took their will
2- Pakura harmed the fellow edo tensei, so they were robbed of will + hanzo self destructed, so he too was robbed of will.
Seeing tht, kabuto robbed all of wills and gave some like itachi freedom to only fight on their own, while maintaining the command of no self destruction or fellow member harm.

Even if kabuto was controlling itachi, he was given freedom to use techs on his own. Let's say kabuto was controlling every set of jutsus, still, MS is within the very desired aspect of capturing them. Tsukuyomi or amaterasu to lower their chakra. Kabuto didn't know tht itachi had set crow in naruto to respond to his eye or for tht matter, he didn't even know tht itachi had shisui's eye.So, it was well within the rules tht itachi used MS because neither did it nullify the command of not harming fellow edo tensei or they self damaged.

Now, other condition, the command tag in itachi was basic. capture/fight bee or naruto + the above 2 commands. Itachi using MS was well within those domains. And how to fight was left to them, leaving them control. So, u can very easily put ITACHI using his MS within tht domain, actually finding a hole in the commands . Also, reason why i believe why they were given free will was because later u saw how he took over nagato completely.
+ U have also seen how free willed few of edo tenseis acted before like i pointed out. Also from anime, there r few others, but will leave it for now.

But imo, u can very easily keep tht in the gray area of fighting. Activating MS tht is. He freed himself + he didn't break any rules until he was released.

Also, KABUTO stated how it is difficult controlling so many edos m and there r bound to be some errors in beginning.The only one who was given totally the free will was madara.

The Sound Four are the only group in the manga in which each member has had a solid, satisfying fight. Even the Akatsuki couldn't manage that, despite them being a vastly superior antagonist group.
And yep, Sasuke Pursuit arc is better than the Chuunin Exams arc imo. The latter had a pretty dull beginning, I thought. Some bits like the forest stuff were way too drab.

Kimimaro is a character who was definitely designed to be too cool for school, but his motivations as a character really added a lot to him. He was an actual character unlike the rest of the Sound 5, who were fun, but shallow.
