Man, it sucks that Neji didn't have some sort of spinning technique that he could use to repel those giant spikes.

Anyway, he was my favorite character in the series. His Byakugan managed to see through the actual writing in the series and he knew everything was going to be bullcrap since Part 1. Godspeed Neji.

I mean on the real, isn't Neji literally the only Konoha 11 member with what amounts to a fucking shield lol? Out of everyone there, shouldn't he of all people be able to block this smhh

Yeah this is well put. I don't know why Kishi made Madara so strong. Like, why was he able to use basically everything? Wasn't he strong enough with just his own jutsu? smh

That's the problem with the Uchiha DNA - maybe it's because you can copy any jutsu, it makes you incapable of appreciating what you already have...

Neji... I'm so sorry that your death was so stupid. You were so cool. So unique in the manga. And your battle in the Sasuke Pursuit arc was fantastic. Then Kishi made you a shipping sacrifice for the exact person your father died for. Just atrocious in so many ways. If Kishi actually ever used you for anything you could have been so cool. Also you'd be great Hokage candidate. Which is probably why Kishi felt the need to murder you. It was a bad writer on the grassy knoll.

Naah, his team only really helped out in the first arc. They fought a fake Akatsuki member (Clone), and then clones of themselves, but then after that nothing. Kishimoto purposely kept them out of the story. Which is weird because Neji being mentioned to be a jounin amounted to....nothing

About Neji since he has just been eliminated, I really, REALLY wished he had just died off in the Sasuke Retrieval Arc. His fight with Kidomaru was the best one in that arc, hands down. That beginning with Byakugan was hella lit.

Good prospects for interactions with both main characters (Naruto [and Sasuke to an extent]) as well as other side characters (he has unique reasons for interesting dynamics with both Lee and Hinata) - check

But that was just more Sharingan [or Rinnegan (which is pretty much Sharingan 2.0)] hax
... he's a Uchiha, there's nothing new to be seen here


Remove the MS-specific jutsu and give the sharingan just the power to see chakra flow/predict jutsu and it's already powerful enough to be interesting/wanted

Itachi could've still had Amaterasu - have it being one of his special ninjutsu (he could breathe it out like a regular fireball) and not an overpowered Sharingan jutsu
No Mecha Gundam skeletons...
... stuff like that

do that and a sizeable amount of my dislike for Uchiha characters would've probably been alleviated

Also remember when the Byakugan was talked about like it was on the level with the Sharingan? One of the three great doujutsu and all that? The Rinnegan, the Sharingan, and the... Byakugan. Yup, all completely equal. No power disparity there at all.

I still don't get much about the characters I've never seen much about myself (like most of the Akatsukis). But seeing what happened to the genins is quite sad, I have so many good memories with the beginning of the series lmao... Looks like the girls became bigger tools and none of the genins have a real role later on aside from Naruto and Sasuke.
