Btw was it ever explained why Yoruichi doesn't use her Zanpakutou

It was taken from her when she defected with Urahara, but that's all that was said. It's probably a family Zanpakuto like Nanao had.

Plus he receives its damages. It's a terrible ability.

I really hate how she was basically used to prop up Zaraki. A terrible end to a character who just got interesting not to long before that.

I always thought she was interesting because everybody was always so scared of her which contrasted with her gentle appearence. Then when the payoff finally came for why it, was actually better than anything I could have hoped for.

Definitely think she shouldn't have died though. Seeing her and Kenpachi fight together would have been so great. While her death makes his character better. It doesn't feel great as a fan her character.

That has nothing to do with Kyouraku, that has a lot to do with in which arc his Bankai got revealed.

Technically speaking Unohana always was presented that there's more to her than " She's a nice lady " I loved that small aspect.

I also wish that the whole Zaraki/Unohana thing would end with them both going to wreck shit on the battlefield.

I know, but the fact that she was the First Kenpachi was a revelation that was unexpected and just pretty awesome.

And yeah, she didn't have to die for Zaraki to get his power up. I get why it was done, in universe, and that is what she wanted. But still, would've been more interesting for her to stick around.

The thing I dislike about Kyouraku besides his abilities is that I believe that Kubo tried too hard with the "I am chill but pretty dangerous". I like him, but he was a bit annoying with this. Especially with such lame abilities.

I don't even feel like Kyouraku's Bankai was that disappointing itself (though his Shikai was better imo). It being based off theatre structure was neat. The issue I had was that it did not finish off his boring opponent sigh

Oh, I loved Kyouraku - and I still wasn't a fan of his bankai

Aesthetically, it was great - how it worked, meh

Spoiler: I mean, look at this picture... it's fantastic

It was super strong, but really not very interesting outside of that

I really am not a fan of powers that have no obvious weakness/powers that are as hax as Kyouraku's bankai is

I mean, check out Kommamura, Ichigo, Byakuya, Mayuri, or Toshiro's bankais - all pretty imposing, all pretty powerful...
... all not so hax that you can't see someone being able to find a way to fight them

It's like genjutsu in Naruto - it just removes the fight from most people
