OP has only released one volume this year compared to the 3 or 4 it usually does. I mean Kimetsu really blew it out. Kingdom and the rest would easily fall behind had OP released 3 volumes.

OP has released 2 volumes this year(Oricon year begins in December) and the 3rd one is coming next month.

It has actually released 2 volumes and one more volume coming in a month, so 3 volumes for the year. Kingdom still isn't easily falling behind One Piece, especially given that One Piece has been selling less volume after volume and Kingdom has a pretty good lead.

Stopping the release of Volume 13 and all further volumes and not reprinting the older volumes; okay. But they will also remove it from digital purchase, which feels a bit too much. I understand that they no longer want to associate with the product and don't want to give the author revenue, but still...

Interested to see for how much money a complete collection of Act-Age will be sold for in a few years by fans on auction websites ^^

not really. its far better than continued backlash over not removing it. Anyone truly interested can just go to a library or buy at a used book store.

Dont know if winning an award would keep it from being overlooked. People dont really buy based on award wins. None of those volume charts people post have shown evidence for such.

It was inevitable that something will overtake OP in the yearly sales. The declines every year and now with reduced number of volumes made it a reachable target.
OP's legacy is still intact and will always be. So people really don't need to start getting insecure over this.

If you told me in 2013 that Kingdom would sell more than OP in a year, I would've thought you were playing a sick joke (given how I love Kingdom more than OP). But here we are.
