So, If I’m right, the playoffs aren’t being cancelled, it’s postponed. Reports say the LA teams were in favor of cancelling the games entirely, but Bron got pissed at the Bucks? Wonder how the meeting actually went down, even though he was ready to vote with the consensus.

Everything is still up in the air. Nothing is clear.
Bron didn't get pissed at the Bucks, where did you read that? Bron voted for stopping the season. I suppose there is lot of clickbait and misinformation around, just follow Sham and Woj for reliable infos.

AFAIK LeBron was annoyed because he was misquoted from one of his posts yesterday, on IG I think. They were all on the same page about boycotting the matches last night, it's just up in the air with regards to abandonning the rest of the season or carrying on playing. But I don't think that's a Bron v Bucks thing. I've not heard that at all.

Both LA teams have voted to cancel the remaining season. I feel like unless they all have a common plan about how to mobilise and act outside of the bubble, it's best for them to remain there, as it allows them to be more influentional without the outside distractions.

Depend, Lebron said they want the owners to be more involved. Cancelling the NBA will make the owners, networks, brands and sponsors lose money. Specially if others sport league follow suit. That'll force lot of people to be involved, as to how. i don't know. So i can see where they're going to if they decide to leave the Bubble.

I got it from Owens reporting from Goodwill here: https://sports.yahoo.com/yahoo-sour...QuplhpxK4xWvpTJ6hNTVerWAaLHNbLI_&guccounter=2

From what I understood at the time, I got the impression that James was furious at the Bucks acting out on their own without reaching a consensus together.

My thoughts are this: the way I see it, I think they’re definitely 80% on finishing the season. Even if a good deal of them want to cancel the games altogether, a majority of them also don’t want all the effort on building the bubble go to waste. That’s not even mentioning Lillard busting his ass to drag the team to the playoffs. It would be even worse for the Suns had they made it to the playoffs.

I’d support whatever consensus or decision they come to, but if it were me on any of those teams, I would vote on continuing as is simply because I don’t want all my work go to an absolute waste.

As for the owners, the one guy who could probably swing the needle on the matter is either just plain apolitical or simply doesn’t want the spotlight on him anymore, even though everyone in the NBA from top to bottom know full well how powerful his voice can be if he really committed to the cause.

We’re still on, per Woj. Details remain to be seen.

Kinda expected this, and as I said beforehand, I think the biggest reason may be simply that they don’t want all the work they’ve done so far in the bubble go to waste. But you can bet one of the demands would be support fron the owners to amplify their voice even further.

That's a courageous prediction. I mean Bucks aren't invincible, especially if you can get a handle on Giannis( which Jimmy probably can), the others aren't that great. Heat have a better squad. Giannis might prove to be too much for them though. I think I'll take Bucks in 5

Similarly to the 2nd one, Raptors have a better squad, especially a better Center. That should be a fun series. I'll take that action, Raptors in 5.

Funny, I think that the Raptors dropping only a single game in such a bad matchup is just as courageous.

tbh i'm just hoping as a Heat fan that somehow they manage to pull an upset. Bucks are agreat team as long as middleton show up, they can win without Giannis playing heavy minute.
