Haven’t seen anyone post this yet. The cover art looks amazing and based on the cover it looks pretty unique. Wish it was a full serialization or at least put on manga plus.

Really not digging the face features. The eyes/noes/mouth all look so off compared to the rest of the body.
The color palette is nice tho.

I guess I’ll give the series another chance then. However I would like for jump to make a more traditional and grounded with a yankee manga with a small modern/supernatural twist, kind of like Tokyo manji revengers of taking the usual formula of yankee manga and giving it a modern and unique spin.

I advise to not go back thinking it's literal a yankee/delinquent manga, it's basically a "cop vs gang" series but change the humans to supernatural sea creatures, the current arc has been really cool with the fights.

On Toho Animation channel on youtube are broadcasting the first episode of Jujutsu Kaisen to those interested.

I also liked the episode, although I noticed some difference

the main one is that in the manga Itadori eats his finger of his own will while in the anime it seems that he does it due to the gravity of the moment

The episode, however, is very well done, if it maintains these qualities it is all good.

For anyonce wondering, yes, One Piece 97 go kicked out of the #1 spot and Kingdom 59 took it over. It only spent 3 days on the top and one of them was the day before the release. I think it should bounce back later but this is interisting to say the least.

It's not that weird, OP is extremely frontloaded. Fw for OP 95 in 2 days was 880k, OP 96 in 3 was 1.07mln, a difference of "only" 190k, an amount that Kingdom can handily sell on day 1.

I guess we won't be getting Jujutsu Kaisen opening and ending until episode 2 anyways.

When I get the Jujutsu Kaisen opening, I'll reupload again that video I've made about Shonen Jump 50 years using the opening 1 of every anime adaptation (still I'm mad about having to use a movie for Rokudenashi Blues ;_; )

You always have to count an extra day with One Piece because it sells pretty well the day before release. But to be honest, I am wondering more about sales in the long run than right now, if One Piece will keep dropping or not.
