Seems this post is pinned so here are the 2025/26 award predictions that I've received so far! If you haven't sent already then feel free to shoot me your list!

But people are saying KD is the 2nd best active player next to Lebron. What i'm saying, this is arguably true but at the same time i just can't put him in the same category as Lebron. He needs to earn his legacy first before being placed next to Lebron.

Kawhi got placed next to Lebron. Because during the Final against the Heat, he kinda shutdown Lebron. Then he took the Raptors to their first championships while being the only superstar of the roster.

I see your point. It's still a collective record, it isn't definitive proof of anything. Anyone saying he is just behind Lebron after barely touching a ball for two years and having Giannis/Harden/etc around is a fool though.

The Raptors were and are a great team without him (not contenders, sure, but he didn't carry a bunch of scrubs).

KD is a bitch who pretty much broke the NBA because he wanted it the easy way after throwing a 3-1 lead against the dubs. If Klay and KD didn't get injured last year, Dubs would've won again. it was just impossible to win against that team. Yes i dislike KD

He is easy to dislike, that's for sure, he picked the "hardest road" after all. Doesn't change how good he is in my eyes (nor Harden and WB, for example, that have been named in this thread before).

PG is a chump tho

KD is a great player, even if you hated his decision to join the Warriors. He's such a great scorer but also someone who can play all 5 positions on the floor. I remember watching Warriors v Cavs in the Finals or just random Warriors games and you see the way he just creates scoring opportunities for himself and make some tough tough shots. Those shots in the Finals over LeBron, man....

PG was a good player pre-injury and when he was still with the Pacers, I liked him. Even when he went OKC initially I liked him, as someone that could maybe compliment Brodie's game but that so quickly fell apart. And then he went to join the Clippers. In the end I'm glad he didn't come to the Lakers; shooting bricks like that...noone's trying to build another arena lol.

Yeah I also missed the Nuggets game but I did feel that this would be game they'd win but the Lakers absolutely had to win that one. Now it's 2-1 and Nuggets have the momentum. It's still very much Lakers series to lose but they have to be so much aggressive.

As for Heats Celtics, if Celtics even out the series tonight, I think they'll take the rest of it. So I'm really hoping Miami comes out all guns blazing for this one.

yeah it's still Lakers serie,but it's a lot closer than what people thought. Nuggets almost won game 2. As for the 25 FT in 2nd QT game, i don't even consider it a game lol

Now it's 2-1 and Nuggets have the momentum. It's still very much Lakers series to lose but they have to be so much aggressive.

It's crazy to think that if Plumlee switched properly the Nuggets could've been leading 2-1.
