Yoshioka would have gotten more than an honorable mention from me if it wasn't for my job hiatus policy. It was the culmination of Musashi's bloodthirsty path and led to an incredible reckoning.

Skypiea was on my shortlist for OP arcs as well just for having Eminem as the antagonist.

@revo my 2nd favorite OP arc, barely behind my first. Such an amazing setting, intro, fights, an insane boss. Watching that on german tv was a slog of eps repeating forever and only once a month seeing a bit of progress but it was so lovely.

My 2nd one as well, did put it higher before but I just love another OP arc a little bit more.

Loved it mostly because of the aspect of the adventure, I feel that OP became the best at that genere in this arc, I remember reading it on the manga for the first time and being stunned by the really cool world-building it had, and the time the arc actually took to show and explain everything.
Enel was incredible too, such a fun guy to watch and the fights were actually interesting to see. The aspect of the "legend" and the mythology used was great too. Really one of the best arcs for me in all the series.

I'm curious which is your 1st fave arc now Gry.

Ow, no one else chose Impel Down arc.
I feel like its One Piece's strongest arc. Also it's the one arc I feel Luffy did not have a lot of plot armor. There was a real sense of danger as he went from one level to another.
Also Magellan was a fantastic arc boss.

Keijoo is also a sport being practiced in Portugal at the very least. Certainly proving the old wisdom from Prison Highschool that Butt people are superior.

Blackbeard just sent everything into hyperdrive. I honestly miss the tension Oda built in Impel Down from the arcs following the time skip. Not sure if it was the claustrophobic setting or Luffy being "alone" but the stakes just don't seem as high ever since.

Really recommend reading Neon Genesis Evangelion's manga if you're interested in human psychology. The series is pretty much a full course of that and the approach it takes is pretty interesting.

Floor of Death and Hidden Floor from Tower of God, and also the Workshop battle i could not decide what to nominate from Tower of God, there were so many good arcs in season 2, i just wanted to nominate the entire Hell Train lol im really glad i picked that series up
