So far, all signs point towards that being a possibility. But lets see.

At this point, regarding Kimetsu's sales, I'm intrigued to know just what the upper limit is.

Spy x Family vol. 1 has sold over 20k units in France since its launch two months ago.
It's the best launch of 2020 (so far). Meaning it's selling better than : Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, The Quintessential Quintuplets, Act-Age, Asadora, etc.

Best 10th day for the series, it recovered nice from that drop in the 300 line, the drop per se that wasn't really bad compared to the rest but visually was impressive.

in term of what? Both Pre-anime? Spy no anime and JJK with ongoing anime?

Spy beats all of that metric btw (at the moment), JJK backlog is starting to catch up

Pre Anime Post 2010 Series nothing will beat Spy or Assassination Classroom, Spy has 6 million copies in circulation with 4 volumes, and Assassination Classroom sold 4.5 million copies in 2013 (1 year after it debuts, with all volumes in the 750k range) [Google Volumes sale 2013 and Yearly Sales 2013]

In terms of total sales JJK with 10 million copies across 13 volumes but if we are talking sales per volume ratio then spy x family destroys jjk with 6 million across 4 volumes.

Any product/musician/art/personality that has major mainstream success has the highest chance of influencing future generations because their work would've reached far more people than others. The larger the mainstream success = more people reached/liked

Naruto was influential in many ways because it was so successful but it was not unique. That's like someone calling MHA unique 10 years from now.

Me pointing out that Naruto is not unique =/= me not liking Naruto. lmao
