Ppl always joke about Black Clover fans for wanting a movie, but I would actually welcome an entire Black Clover movie with high budget animation. Won’t happen, but would be nice

Me being a slowpoke and not seeing the MHA movie 3 announcement until now.

I wonder if this official reveal could mean possible issue 1 cover for MHA. I doubt it for many reasons (like the announcement happening before the Jump issue), but more or less we can say this was the Horikoshi secret project that made him go on breaks.

PS: Movie 1: only Deku. Movie 2: Deku and Kacchan. Movie 3: Shoto joins the fray.

Can't believe that Yozakura will soon already be the 6th oldest currently ongoing series in Jump once WNL and Chainsaw Man have ended. This really shows how many series have ended within just a single year.

Tbh, we also had this type of situation back in 2016 when Toriko, Bleach, Kochikame and Assassination Classroom ended.
I remember back then everyone were surprised by the fact that MHA and BC (not even 2 years by that time) became amongst the oldest series in the lineup.

It'll happen again, 5 years from now.

Tbh, the only series still running today that I for sure see around in 4 years would be JJK, Undead x Unluck, Mashle, and Ayakashi Triangle.
Possibly Yozakura, Magu-chan, Build King, and Sakamoto Days depending on how things go.
Even if all 8 manage to survive that's still less than half the roster!
There's a ton of vets and super talented yet cancelled rookies who have the potential to really take over Jump when they come back.
We haven't seen the most defining series of the decade yet.

It's 2025... One Piece has just ended. The three longest running veterans of the magazine are now Mashle, Me & Roboco, and Build King.

Yeah, I guess it was pretty similar. Though I just looked at it now and after Toriko ended, Hinomaru Zumou became the 7th oldest series after 123 chapters. The series that were older and still ongoing were OP, Gintama, Saiki K., Haikyuu, Shokugeki and Isobe Isobee Monogatari.

This time, Yozakura will become the 6th oldest series with less than 70 chapters. In comparison to back then, Black Clover was the 9th oldest series with 88 chapters. The 9th oldest series this time will be Mashle with less than 50 chapters, assuming that Agravity Boys doesn't end by then. So I agree that the situation was similar back then. But the situation right now will probably be the earliest that a still fairly new series will be among the 6 oldest series in the magazine since at least the late 90's.

It will be very interesting to see how the magazine is going to be once OP ends, filling that boy will be hard, but im hoping for the rise of many enthusiastic mangakas wanting to give their best during these times.

Honestly, I think there's zero chance of One Piece ending in just 5 years at its current rate of progress, considering that 30-36 chapters per year is only 150-180 after 5 years. Even if the next major arc ends up being the final arc, that many chapters will probably only take us halfway through it at best considering we've still got a bunch of Wano to get through.

I don't think WSJ will need to worry about filling the hole left by One Piece until we're almost at 2030.
