Spoiler: To be reminded for upcoming rounds -zimbardo

I've made a thread to alert people when new rounds are starting, when lists are to be sent, when the number 1 has been released, etc.

I hope that it is a useful tool for you lot.

Please watch the thread and, if hosting, post messages to alert people to anything useful within the game

Fuegoleon being in the top 5 shows how much good taste this round is having. Though he's popular, I didn't think he would go this far, and I'm glad he did. Best Captain after Yami tbh and like Beno said, the one who deserves to be next Wizard King.

[Gryffindor]

Pasta will be the WK, only question is if he'll be the next one. Can see someone else being a stopgap.

Fuego ()! Glad he's top 5, was such a breath of fresh air, especially in early BC where the peasant hate from the Noble folk was peak toxic. Would wipe the floor with Pasta but still acknowledged him as a rival and respected his ambition. His encouragement to Noelle in the GIF Juviii posted just oozes class, would've burned Nozel's braid off if the invasion didn't interrupt.

Asta

Even though he started the series by being a bit annoying (screaming all the time), there's no denying that Asta is the most hard-working MC. He started by not only being an orphan but also having no mana at all. In a world where magic is everything, he was a loser by birth but that never stopped him from fighting to be better and fulfill his dream.

Why isn't Asta, the MC, in first place or even in top 3, you ask?

Asta: I´ll be 1st one day, because:
NOT GIVING UP IS MY MAHOOOOO!!!

[Hermit]

Asta pretty likeable MC. The recent Liebe stuff only proved it more. Author could have made his devil a secret OP one, the most powerful, ruler of hell kinda thing. But his devil is also rather ordinary Which kinda sums him up as a character, a normal person trying his hardest to reach the top.
--
Also, in a world where the top tiers are all magic monsters who have Mana Zones and all that, anti-magic is a rather creative ability in general. Good position

[Aurelius]

Ahh just missed the top 3, but great rank nonetheless, overcoming the discrimination in story and the hate about his voice. That's why you never give up folks. Like Nacht says, Asta was always right.

Also, starry-eyed Asta is best Asta.

[Riku]

Noelle beat Asta

[Gryffindor]

That top left Pasta pick giving off Meliodas vibes

Before picking up BC, all I ever heard were negative things about Pasta......all a bunch of liars . Don't know if it's because of the anime giving off that impression, but he's great and surprisingly funny too. If only Sister Lily could see.

Much respect for that 6th round work ethic.

Mero Top 3

[Aurelius]

Noelle beat Asta

She's royalty after all, never a doubt

Mereoleona Vermillion

The fierce lioness conquered the 3rd position. Often refered as a beast or a wild animal, no one escapes without fear for her roar. She was the protagonist of one of the best fights in BC: Mereo vs 5 damn elves.
Just like her brother she pays no attention to status and only cares about strenght. As a captain she is strict and puts everyone into shape. However, she has no interest in being one since she isn't a fan of rules or anything that restricts her. She also often serves as a motivator for her cousin Noelle by talking about how great her mother is and she can become.

Spoiler: manga panel

"Among lions the females are the ones who hunt"

[Aurelius]

Noelle beat Mereo , just like her mother

Anyways, Mereoleona's greatest contribution was not pummeling elves or whipping the magic knights into shape, but introducing the hot spring!

Spoiler: Hot Spring NSFW

PS Her new haircut looking fresh

[Tatsumaki]

Can a Noelle fan tell me what they love about her ?
Clearly I fail to see it.

Mereoleona is my queen though

[Gryffindor]

[Brandish μ]

Can a Noelle fan tell me what they love about her ?
Clearly I fail to see it.

I'd say in the first 100 chaps she was my second fave, because she had reasonable motivations and potential for character development. The whole thing with her family seeing her as lacking talent, because they're stuck up, makes it easy to cheer her on imo. She's a tsun too. So her development could be fantastic if she (i) transforms as a mage into a top tier (on her way), (ii) is recognised by her family as strong/worthy (complete?) and (iii) emotionally matures along the way to have a stronger and composed character. Pretty much become her mother(?). Idk if the manga has done great delivering on that (my expectations might be off too) but I think there's enough to like about Noelle from what I saw.

[Shadowlord123]

NOOOOO!!! My boi Julius missing the Top 5 by a hair. So close yet so far

Surprised to see Asta this high tbh, especially when you look at the Black Clover Favourites thread and there's no vote for him in the Favourite Male Character section. Not that I dislike him. The more the series has advanced, the more I have appreciated his character. Not gonna lie, at the start when I was watching the anime I was on the "Asta is super annoying" gang too but not anymore

Fuegoleon and Mereoleona are well-deserved spots. The lioness queen breaking the Top 3 is just amazing

Now then, guess Noelle will be second and Yami first or maybe the opposite? It can pretty much go either way but I'm betting on Yami first.

Noelle Silva
(10) @Hermit (10) @Zirconium (9) @Belserion (9) @Valhalla777 (9) @Dayeye (9) @Nii (8) @Gladiolus (8) @BD_Beno (7) @Shadowlord123 (7) @lakhan220 (7) @Elusia (6) @Jailmurdoch (6) @Sr.Enissay (6) @Ustegius (6) @The Prince of Darkness (5) @Seraph (5) @Gryffindor (5) @Moegara (4) @Rikudou King (3) @Juviii (1) @Brandish μ (1) @Hrathgrath

Noelle Silva, deemed as the failure of the Silva family, never gave up on trying to succeed. Even if told nobles don't need to train since they are born with more mana, or that she doesn't have to take the magical exam, she did both, in order to improve, and being aknowledge by her family. As consequence, once she finally could control her great amount of mana, she started developing awesome magic spells, being the most notorious her Valkyrie dress. The tsundere of Black Bulls convinced not only her family but almost all the MH members, conquering the 2nd place. Will she conquer Asta's heart too?

Spoiler: Noelle's determination

Noelle: Why am I in top 2?
Cause i'm osoko yo!

THE WINNER

Yami Sukehiro
(10) @Erinyes (10) @Moegara (10) @Ustegius (10) @Valhalla777 (10) @liductan (10) @Gladiolus (10) @The Prince of Darkness (10) @Nii (10) @BD_Beno (10) @Elusia (10) @Linali (9) @Juviii (9) @Gryffindor (9) @Brandish μ (9) @Tatsumaki (9) @kira (9) @Seraph (9) @Sr.Enissay (9) @Shadowlord123 (8) @Gajeel (8) @Jailmurdoch (7) @Dayeye (6) @Hrathgrath (6) @Rikudou King (4) @Zirconium (3) @Belserion (2) @lakhan220 (1) @revo

From a discriminated foreign commoner to a respected captain, Yami has made his own fate against all odds. He is known for choosing to his guild the odd ones like him: super shy girls like Grey, noble failures like Noelle and Finral, manaless dudes like Asta, outcasts like Zora, thugs and criminals like Magna and Gauche, the list goes on. He gave those oddballs a place to feel at ease and made his own family, free from the constraints of status or popularity.
And besides all that, he is a true badass with dark magic, and a funny and easy going taicho.

Spoiler: Manga Panels

Yami: Why am I the winner? Hell if I know. I just decided to surpass my limits right here and nowww!

[Tatsumaki]

YAMIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII !
The King got the crown he rightfully deserved. I'm at peace.

[Erinyes]

Huge thxs @Juviii for hosting you did an awesome job ! thxs to everyone who join !

some cute arts spamming agaaaaan !! Leona-chan is really something

[Hermit]

Best thing to take away about Noelle's character is that unlike 99% of other shonen heroines, she's not defined by her romantic feelings for Asta. She actually has a character outside him. In other's cases they usually start out well before regressing into love figurines, or start out as love figurines and fail to show any remarkable growth outside of that

Fantastic ranking.

[Gladiolus]

Well deserved spots 1 and 2 for gigachad Yami and best girl Noelle (one of the best shounen heroines in recent times). Tbh, Yami's position was predictable (still deserved), but I'm glad to see Noelle got that far. Overall a pretty good round, the fandom of Black Clover of this forum has some nice taste.

[Brandish μ]

@Hermit were you the only Yami hater in this ranking?

Nice work Juviii!!!iii!!!
