We already have a family tree of mangakas and assistants throughout the industry and now you want a family tree of influences? You must be trying to kill someone :XD .

I’m all for it though if someone is willing to spend their hours on this alone.

It's fun to see where the older series have influenced the newer generation, The Big 3 especially. Naruto is obvious in My Hero Academia and Black Clover and with One Piece it feels more like those who came up through Nobuhiro Watsuki (like Toriko/Build King) otherwise I can't think of many that capture that exact vibe/feel of adventure.

Probably because I know the series inside out and back to front but I definitely see a lot of Bleach all over the hits from the 2010's (especially JJK and Demon Slayer), which matches with what has been said in interviews:

Jujutsu Kaisen
Q: Teacher's (Gege) lines & skill names have impressive personality & impact. Is there any reference when choosing a language?
A: Please read "BLEACH"!!

Demon Slayer

https://w.atwiki.jp/kimetsunoyaiba/pages/64.html
“There are too many [manga] to count, but if I had to choose the top three, they’d be Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Naruto and Bleach.” And there's apparently mention of the Gotei 13 being brought up a lot in editor meetings (which explains the Pillars)

My Hero Academia
https://edomonogatari.wordpress.com/2019/10/05/kubo-horikoshi/ (one of my favourite author-author interviews)
Horikoshi: In any event, Bleach was responsible for ingraining the power of words in me. However, my sensibilities are nowhere near as polished as yours… Which is why some people might think I’m lacking.

Black Clover

Yūki Tabata of Black Clover wrote, "It had a lot of influence on me. Kubo-sensei, serializing it for such a long time must have been a lot of work!"

I'd love to see a family tree of influence from all the generations down to now, since even Bleach very much feels reminiscent of Yu Yu Hakusho and Saint Seiya.
Black Clover if you think about what it has in store for us, the sheer scale of the lore and world and all its possibilities it does seem it can go more towards the One Piece route than naruto. But we'll wait and see. The same can't be said about the others at the moment. Black Bulls are also kind of like the strawhats.

This might be fake, but someone on 5ch said that the characters on the cover are:

One Piece (Oda) Luffy
My Hero Academia (Horikoshi) Shanks
Black Clover (Tabata) Zoro
We Never Learn (Tsutsui) Hancock
Dr. STONE (Boichi) Ace
Jujutsu Kaisen (Akutami) Kaido
Mission: Yozakura Family (Gondaira) Sanji
AGRAVITY BOYS (Nakamura) Jinbe
UNDEAD UNLUCK (Tozuka) Franky
Mashle: Magic and Muscles (Komoto) Brook
Moriking (Hasegawa) Usopp
Ayakashi Triangle (Yabuki) Nami
Magu-chan: God of Destruction (Kamiki) Chopper
Hard-Boiled Cop and Dolphin (Tamura) Robin
Me & Roboco (Miyazaki) Bon Kurei
Phantom Seer (Matsuura) Sabo
High School Family: Kokosei Kazoku (Nakama) Cavendish
Our Blood Oath (Kakazu) Vivi
Build King (Shimabukuro) Gaimon
SAKAMOTO DAYS (Suzuki) Crocodile

Take it with a grain of salt.....
Gaimon fits Shimabokuro so well lol. I want this to be real

BC have OP influence with the adventure feels(or at least what I read ) while the atmosp in MHA sometimes remember me like a Togashi/Kubo work

I think Naruto was pretty influential, sometimes in ways that aren't so obvious. For example, I think it made shonen manga a lot more introspective and philosophical than they used to be. I don't know if invented it, but it definitely popularized the idea of every other character having his backstory and motivations explored, even the villains. That's a staple of the genre now, but you didn't really see it in Dragon Ball and the like.
Strongly disagree. Late YYH and Kenshin already did that(and I don't like Late YYH as much as I like the dark tournament)

He said it popularised it. Not that it wasn't done before. I was thinking off the top of my head and the only ones I could think of that did this are YYH and Kenshin. And they did it quiet late like you said

I think we can include Naruto in terms of influence and importance. The two biggest shonen mangas of this generation’s MCs are undoubtedly influenced by Naruto in one way or another, which can be seen in the way Kishi moved away from the “Goku clone” MC blueprint. Deku and Tanjiro are no doubt influenced by Naruto since you can spot similarities, either consciously or unconsciously.
Deku i can see some similarity with Naruto but Tanjirou? Like he probably the farthest from Naruto, he wasn't an outcast, he didn't want to become the best so that people would recognize him. I would said he is more similar to Ichigo than Naruto, both are someone who content with their lifes but was drag in a new world due to circumstance,

I have to disagree that Tanjirou is influenced by Naruto. He's more influenced by Pegasus Seiya.

Yeah, I see zero similarities between Tanjiro and Naruto.
Deku and Naruto, sure.

Deku is sort of a mix of Gon and Naruto. He's smart but he's also emotional when he fights.

One Piece had heavy focus on character backstories and dreams too but for some reason people only mention it for its influence on worldbuilding.

Arlong arc is older than Naruto though. But the early villains didnt get that much focus that is true

But it took longer. Naruto was doing it right from Zabuza. I think that's what the first guy to mention this was on about anyway ;-;

It's because the 2 series use difference format and approach. OP first part before Arlong was mainly about introduce the crew since they're the focus of the series. Like each arcs before Arlong was basically a mini-introduction to the each of the cast( Zoro, Sanji, Nami, Usopp, Luffy) before Oda let them go on their first big emotional arc, which let the readers have a feel and somewhat attach to these characters first. Meanwhile Naruto spend way less time introduce the cast before throw them in the first major arc. Arlong Arc and Zabuza Arc basically serve the same purpose, just difference is in the length of the character introduction part.

It can't popularize it when Naruto was one of the series inspired by that mid 90s wave.
Is not only Togashi and kenshin(that inspired Kishi, Oda and Kubo)doing that before, you can see other authors like Fujita in other magazines already doing things like backstories and motivation before Kishimoto started Naruto.
Naruto was more fresh to the magazine in the way of how Kishi handle the battle in the begining with less martial art and more strategic but the philosophical or the character backstory part (or the using villain backstory) he neither invented it or popularize in the genre.

Maybe. But I think something they have in common is their compassionate nature towards the people they meet, even their enemies. That’s something that Naruto started with his ability to emphasize with others, even if it gets flanderized sometimes and not really executed smoothly everytime.

That’s what I mean by Tanjirou’s likeness to Naruto. His character is not completely the same, but there are bits of Naruto’s blueprint, at least that’s how I see it.
