Also my role is not that important, it won't be missed if I die.

I'm a Super Mason.

Claiming SM doesn't challenge another player's SM though. Not sure we've ever had a game where there was only one SM actually.

If you had the same main role, that would be a lot less likely.

Imagine a vanilla baiting a recruitment after the mafia mason got changed as well btw. Certainly interesting to have in mind for whatever people "turn out" to be.

Yeah the two examples tell us that there's already been hosts willing to put SM both on a role that looks useful but isn't, and the other way around.

The mechanic favours anti towns so super masons can be a way to balance that. Even more if it allows people to coordinate actions.

Well I find no reason not to believe it currently. But I find it weird to play like that on D1. I have been super mason before mind you. In the game where I was prostitute with Orgsn. And sure claiming super mason, you could get recruited faster but honestly any mafia that would let a MR get recruited of someone of Lambu’s caliber with a potential important role..... so I think as Townie, it’s a lot more dangerous claim. While as scum, it would be a pretty good claim to make early

Maybe multiple recruiters, or they learned from past experiences where Super Masons die before being recruited so might as well spread the love around a bit. They're not fully proven but I'd certainly not lynch someone as brazen as to claim SM D1.

I'd add that this is the first time I'm having my role.

Multiple Super Masons? From my hosting perspective, to give a Recruiter more than one chance in 25 to hit one before he kills himself

If you alrdy have to postpone actions to perform rituals, imagine getting recruited while not being a SM and fully losing any use your role could have had in the game.

My role is not affected by this too much, so if what you are saying is true they are multiple SM in the game with more important roles.

Somehow the mechanic give the feeling of a game with a lot of factions, 2 mafia, mason and something else?

if they are more SMs in the game I don't know what the right play is for them, maybe you guys should discuss this point, reveal or hide?
