Yo, people are saying Bernie's a misogynist. What's going on?
Not his fault he became a meme and got attention over Harris.

Biden's banned some nations travel due based on their covid cases. Now the right will stay quiet about that.
Noone is saying that... I think you are talking about McCain's comment, but she referred to misogyny she's received from Bernie supporters, which happens all the time. People ignore principles when showing support and attacking others but she defnitely didn't mean Bernie himself.Yo, people are saying Bernie's a misogynist. What's going on?

I dont disagree at all, but i think Cruz knew Paris climate agreement isn't about Paris , he is just speaking in language that resonates with Trump supporters. But Trump supporters wont accept him and he doesn't have the charisma either.I really hate the fact that we have dumbass people in power, like MTG, Boebert, Cruz, and etc.
Interesting, i see most of Trump's based getting confused with his last name itself. He wasn't very liked by that crowd and was going for the real conservatives support even during his senate run....I could actually see trump supporters jumping on a Ted Cruz bandwagon. Desperate times call for desperate measures. But.. Ted cruz getting support from mainstream republicans would require near 2016 trump like circumstances.
They are, and I didn't even know about McCain.Noone is saying that... OK, looks like i misunderstood. Perhaps you meant this one, or something on these lines:They are, and I didn't even know about McCain.
I know, but I'm also talking about in general.
That too, but I was talking about a letter that Bernie wrote decades ago. They brought this up durin the primary and probably during the last primary too.OK, looks like i misunderstood. Perhaps you meant this one, or something on these lines:
I think its an overreaction.....
Also, Harris becoming a VP is only a big deal for America, everywhere else, woman have held stronger authority much before and for a longer time.
Some bring up the article he wrote decades ago, I think about how women are into or actually like being raped. There absolutely is still a sect of more mainstream liberals who are upset about his campaigns against Clinton and Warren who project the worst examples they saw online onto Sanders himself. Like, this is the sort of thing that conservatives relentlessly troll dumb libs about. It's maddening.
There's more backstory to that entire thing, that can't be conveyed in a tweetSome bring up the article he wrote decades ago, I think about how women are into or actually like being raped.
Maybe my reading comprehension is off, but I don't see how this shows them being close to overturning the results in Georgia really.Wow, even more details about trump's coup attempt are getting out. It looks like he almost succeeded, actually, had not some people in the justice sector and some other places showed spine.
https://www.nytimes.com/2021/01/22/us/politics/jeffrey-clark-trump-justice-department-election.html
Had Trump succeeded with overturning the election in georgia (and as this looks, it is not farfetched), then I think he would have actually got enough republicans to not certify biden's presidency.
Wow, that is an absurdly stupid reaction. bernie was fucking just sitting there.... I mean, do people really think Bernie calculated that him wearing a warm coat and fluffy mittens would make him go viral with the specific intent of overshadowing kamala? I mean... COME ON.OK, looks like i misunderstood. Perhaps you meant this one, or something on these lines:

yeah, to me that doesn't read like they came close either. it reads more like trump trying acme brand schemes to make himself president.. But the guy couldn't even have a conversation about this with the georgia folk without it getting immediately leaked. It's just another page in the long and sad clown show that was trump's coup attempt. Honestly, the best shot trump had at staying president was his mob infiltrating the capitol and killing a bunch of senators and congressmen. but even if they succeeded at that them dismantling the rest of the government so that trump stays in power seems... nigh impossible. I do believe trump's attempt at the coup had more than zero chances but doing so would have required him to have a modicum of competence to get the mitch mcconels of the country on board. Which trump obviously doesn't, so he didn't.Maybe my reading comprehension is off, but I don't see how this shows them being close to overturning the results in Georgia really.
Nothing about that changes the demographics though, the House was still 233-195 Democrat, and the Senate was 46-51 Republican. The Senate still voted 93 and 92 in favor of certification of Arizona and Pennsylvania.
Yes, but what if Trump had succeeded in making a claim that at least seems credible on paper about georgia being fraudulent? Had Rosen played along, he would probably have succedeed with that. Clark found a way to legitimately pressure the georgia republicans. Had he succeeded in making Rosen step down (and that was not very unlikely), he could have done things like faking that the dominion voting machines actually do not work (and not just in crazy conspiracy theories). Had he done that, a lot of the GOP would have been pushed to accept that 'doubts' of the election.Maybe my reading comprehension is off, but I don't see how this shows them being close to overturning the results in Georgia really.

The great irony being that the riots literally gave some GOP Senators pause and caused them to withdraw objections to the certifications in Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, and Wisconsin.yeah, to me that doesn't read like they came close either. it reads more like trump trying acme brand schemes to make himself president.. The Bernie Sanders 'Rape Fantasy' Essay, Explained
A 1972 essay written by Bernie Sanders, who officially kicked off his presidential campaign this week, is making the rounds. What did he say about rape that's got people talking?www.npr.org
And even then, I don't believe a 50 year old essay is the reason people had this kind of reaction. They expect ostensibly curmudgeonly people to feign not being a curmudgeon for arbitrary reasons.
Yeah but... all those "what ifs" which kept trump away from actually pulling a coup basically amount to "what if trump wasn't an idiot". Most of this are things which trump actively bungled. And even if he had pulled off all of this... trump had not really done the work to actually topple the US government. As much damage as trump did, he didn't actually manage to dismantle US institutions and arguably he would have needed far more cronies at many other levels of government, including the military, to actually pull this off. As I said earlier, even if the stupid mob that broke in the capitol had succeeded in the worst case scenarios like killing congressmen and pence, it would still have not gotten pretty much the rest of the government behind Trump's clownshow. Now, this is not to say that things are looking peachy. It's fairly clear that democracy in the US is fragile enough that even an incompetent asshat like trump that cannot take two steps without tripping while his hand is being held got this far.Yes, but what if Trump had succeeded in making a claim that at least seems credible on paper about georgia being fraudulent? None of these people need to feel that way about what he wrote in order to label his behavior misogynist. The absence or inclusion of what he wrote in their thinking doesn't change anything IMO, they're labeling him as a misogynist because he wasn't performative enough and his supporters are "mean". And that kind of points to a larger issue with mainstream liberals, they're too performative and value that over meaningful things.I mean, a lot of liberals/Clinton supporters think he was saying women fantasize about being raped. I think this played a huge part in the reaction he got, since they see him as a misogynist.
Maybe some people, but not politicians. Clinton in particular is incredibly savvy and cynical to bring such a thing up because she knows her supporters refuse to hold her accountable in nearly any situation. And don't even get me started on Harris' record as the top cop in CA.From what I've seen amongst liberals/Hillary supporters, it was the article and his supporters that got him the label. It also doesn't help that Hillary tried character assassination on him, and I think Harris accused him of saying something misogynistic, if I recall correctly? I feel like a lot of issues against Bernie, as you said, is people trying to show they care about women and going too far with it.
But some Bernie supporters were shitheads though, I'm not going to lie. At least on Twitter.
But Clinton also uses girlboss power for her own advantage, like with Bernie and acting as if she was the only one or first one to know how dangerous Trump was, when most of us have been saying it all along. It's also weird that Harris gets so much support especially from Black liberals from what I've seen. Like, it's great that she's the first Black female vice president, but her history matters too. It seems Biden is retracting a lot of his promises, like minimum wage increase and $2000 stimulus.Maybe some people, but not politicians. Clinton in particular is incredibly savvy and cynical to bring such a thing up because she knows her supporters refuse to hold her accountable in nearly any situation. And don't even get me started on Harris' record as the top cop in CA.
Yeah, so? Everyone has those. The issue is diehard Clinton and Warren supporters weaponized their victimhood as being some sort of reflection of Sanders and what he stands for despite him repeatedly repudiating it. Dislike his platform all you want, it doesn't make this act any less dishonest.
