The battle itself was pretty much over and Brain revealed his plan; there was no real reason to drag it out. Of course, we’ll probably get the battle aftermath and such in a flashback but all things considered I think this is a pretty smooth transition. I feel like this is just one of those occasional shock chapters that makes you curious about what’s going on and throw the community into a frenzy. Shibuya was 10/10 for me.

Yaga is part of Gojo's progressive faction, so they're using the opportunity to render them politically powerless. Shoko and Megumi are too valuable so they can't kill them, but I wouldn't be surprised if they end up restricting their actions somewhat. Ijichi is probably going to lose his job.
