He insisted on a rehearsal as a joke, while she did the same on other skits herself. Sure, inappropriate to which he apologized too, but the left pushed for his resignation. The point is whether or not it warranted a resignation, but i guess it was the peak of #metoo, so maybe nothing else could've been done.
The point is it wasn't an isolated incident, and he didn't really deny any of it. He just chalked it up to being touchy-feely with people. Touching strangers on the breasts or ass isn't just being touchy-feely. He had 9 known accusers.

I mean, Kathy Griffin is a comedian who constantly skirted the line. If she was a different person, I don't know if the Trump head thing would have affected her career in the same way. It's not the first time her career went into a tailspin because of her behavior though.
