hayami is definitely not normal perhaps the more damage he gets he becomes faster or his senses are increasing or whatever.

Well i was hoping that hayami is the real meguro and meguro was the clone because remember the dude was nice and suddenly at some point he start killing also his father even doubted that his son.

to be honest his backstory is not something amazing i mean we had people with better backstories in ashura in omega if we exclude falcon and maybe toa the rest were kinda .... similar like mendel felt the same boredom as jurota , monke's backstory was nothing that interesting , tian backstory nothing interesting as well.

So far people in purgatory are lacking the backstory to inspire my boy sekibayachi has 1000 better backstory than everyone in purgatory thus far.

So hayami was trained by masaki also it looks like purgatory rules are backfiring could it be that perhaps toyoda did that on purpose because he was tired of been the head of purgatory.

Well i was expecting hayami to defeat arashiyama because it would made this way more interesting plot wise if hayami becomes a vice president which if i remember that was the deal yamashita had in order to recruit hayami's fighter but i cannot hide my disappointment because this dude was supposed to be one of 2 kings of purgatory and lost by hayami i really have no much hope for king so far only mendel and falcon took wins .

It's more like Kengan va Kengan tournament. Some guys are dumb enough to kill the purgatory weaklings, while the others defeat them normally and get the W.

At least Hayami confessed Arashiyama lost because of the rules, which somehow compensates Medel's victory and evens things out.

Arashi was pretty much like a Sekibayashi no. 2. Both of them were completely loyal to their respective sports till the very end.

My prediction, the executioner will be the loser of this match. The other gladiator to win is Terashi I assume.
Btw, I'm happy even the manga characters don't like this executioner psycho.

Lol at Lolong reading minds this chapter. This dude's hype is all over the top. I pray he doesn't lose one-sidedly (if he ends up losing).

Omegalul. Terashi, what are you trying to say? That you're even weaker than him even if Nicolas isn't cornered? I hope he's being humble just like Waka, but it doesn't really look like it thus far.

At this point, the candidate with the most chances to be the Tiger's Vessel is Fei and I would say it's by far. Terashi's thoughts don't align at all with the personality of the Vessel, unless he has a double personality (the Vessel didn't appear to look as tall as him either, he's a fucking Tower). Both Liu and Lolong appear to be among the oldest gladiators of Purgatory and judging by their reactions and thoughts, it really doesn't look feasible for any of the two to be the Vessel, especially Liu. The only option left is Fei, which is the only Gladiator we've never seen thoughts of and whose personality appears to be inconsistent (at the start of Purgatory he stated that Lolong was scary asf, yet after some chapters, he doesn't have any qualms fucking with him saying he's sus).

Also, his dialogue right here is extremely suspicious:

"I've heard the name, of course. So does that mean Naidan and Lu were imposters?"

There are two suspicious things in the dialogue. The first one is the "of course", which implies it's obvious that he should know about the existence of the Worm. Why should it be obvious though? Isn't the Worm supposed to be a secret organisation? Arashiyama said he listened to rumours about them, Terashi thought they were a fairy tale. The only one who was certain in this panel of the existence of the Worm was Fei.

The second one is the "imposter" line. Yamashita never talked about infiltrates. Why does Fei talk about imposters as soon as Lu and Naidan being Worms comes up? It's almost as if he knows that Worm impersonates fighters and other people. Tbf, in this case it's possible that Toyoda or the Falcon told them the case of the fake Yuzaki, but that would seem to be top secret from what we know. The Purgatory members were surprised of seeing Lu and Naidan act like that, which implies they knew nothing of this.

Ohma was also suspecting someone before leaving the ring. Someone said something strange that left Ohma thinking. It couldn't have been Arashiyama, neither Terashi. Nicolas doesn't look like it either, he only said he couldn't stand bugs. Alan said nothing and he's dead anyway. That leaves only Lolong and Fei, but I personally believe Fei is the most likely candidate. He's Chinese, just like the Worm and Long Min (who was the rival of the Vessel and a Chinese dude as well), is the only fighter we haven't seen inner thoughts of, his personality appears to be inconsistent, almost as if he was playing a part and he joined Purgatory two years ago (after killing Long Min in the Annihilation Tournament and apparently coming closer to where Ohma and company were).

Some people even say he has the kanji "King" in his name, and only Ryuki and Ohma have it.
