Yabuki has done a successful battle shounen as well, so it's not like To Love Ru's the only thing to base expectations on.

Ayakashi Triangle to me feels like it's trying to find a good middle ground between focusing on ecchi, general romcom shenanigans, and action, instead of leaning hard to any one side. And since it seems to be working well for him so far with a strong immediate fanbase, there's not much reason to ramp up the fanservice as it goes on.
Yes but in the last ten years he has done ecchi I doubt that many people remember Black Cat, and I don’t know if you can say that he is doing well To love ru sold much better than ayakashi

Okay this week chapters:
I tell C: I still like it. MC quirk is pretty funny this week since it uses to explain how she can use ninja skills.
Baseball: Good build up, now seem like the main trio have been assemble, the real plot can begin.
Magu: New god. Also his ability seem to had cause the snow storm.
Elusive Samurai: I still have no idea what this series want to be.

yooo.. kowloon's paradise is the best of new series batch. its not even close..
its set up perfectly. so far, its about build the character, and its done wonderfully, because i like them all, and i care for them..

and the plot may take from MONEYBALL, thats great movies to take on... i am not even mad.. wait to think about it, its nothing new from manga spokon (eyeshield, giant killing??, etc i had no much catalogue to count on)..

i hope its survive. and its coming from guy who never care about spokon/gag/exorcist discrepancy (debacle/controversy/debate??)..

kowloons paradise >>>>>>> witchwatch=i tell c>elusive samurai (it had broken structure and i drop it, its like i am reading history drawing book rather than story fiction based on history)

Almost forgot this.

JJK: Still feeling the "weekly blues" on this one. I know it's heading somewhere interesting but it just feels like not much is going on. That being said Gege knows how to draw bodies in motion and that kept me engaged. At this point I should just get resigned to the fact that the story isn't going to move forward for a while.

Undead: I'm more interested in things going forward than the previous arc, as Juiz meeting Billy has great ramifications. I liked Unknown's story but I felt like the ending dragged a bit. Still this series revels in audacity and I love it for that.

OP: Fights in One Piece are just fine to me for the most part and while I get people wanting to see their favorite characters mix things up occasionally it's not my thing. That being said seeing Robin finally get a fight of her own does get me excited, and all things considered we knew this was coming for Sanji. That being said I do like seeing how far both Robin and Sanji have come to get to this point.

Roboco: It really didn't get funny to me until the end, but the payoff was worth it. I was laughing at the several Robocos in the past too. Not a terrible chapter but yeah, far from the best.

Mashle: Tried and true shonen in action here. There's a reason why it works though. I knew Mash would show up, and when he did it was worth the wait. The artwork in this series also continues to be really impressive.

Dolphin: A little disappointing after the build up last week but promising developments seem to be on the horizon even if it's likely this series is on it's way out. (I say likely but it's all but assured isn't it?) The small bit of humor was good, and the chapter ended at just the right point (imo.)

I tell C: Still on the fence with this one, though the chapter this week wasn't all that bad. I feel like depending on this first major arc ends will help me decide what I want to do with it. I think I'm beginning to enjoy the characters, though I still don't think I care about the concept.

Witch: I said this before, but this really does feel like Ponkotsu-chan kenshouchu in Sunday just..not as interesting. I do realize I have a bias though, lol. I was thinking more characters to bounce off the leads would perhaps help things stabilize, but this chapter still felt as forced and unfunny as the last two. It's a real shame since I adore Shinohara's artwork and character designs, but the cliche-ish humor here is impacting my enjoyment.

Yozakura: Another one that leaned on the shonen tropes hard, and did a good job with it. Gondaira's art is interesting too as with this arc being way more serious it's stepped up to the occasion in a big way. They're also great at the comedy side of things which I admit I do miss slightly. That being said this arc just keeps ramping things up and I do enjoy seeing the other members of the family get their time to shine, as well as their various backstories.

Sakamoto: Wasn't expecting the wife to find out this early on and for that to be resolved so quickly, but I think it's good in the long run. Now Sakamoto can really run "wild" lol. I liked the whole finding out info by VHS bit as well as the look at the underground. I hope we'll see more of Hardboiled because he's hilarious.

Samurai: Matsui's being a bit more deliberate with this series in comparison to Neuro and AssClass. That being said I did appreciate the time with the other characters and the humor in the chapter, and I think the slow pace in building up the characters and story is good. I do wish we could see more Matsuisms, which usually comes through with the villians, so next week should be good for that.

Phantom Seer: Yeaaaah gonna probably drop this one. "Oooh Pretty art" is just not doing it for me. I literally forgot the characters names until I talked to someone on twitter, which just goes to show it's not holding my attention. That said, I'm also toying with the idea of approaching it from a purely art appreciation angle and giving up on trying to enjoy the story or characters. Though it's likely I'm just gonna let this go.

I dunno if it's apparent, but these are in no particular order.

Voice comic today is for Kowloon's Ball Parade, the new Jump series by Mikiyasu Kamada and Fukui Ashibi. It appears I tell c will have to wait.

I'm interested to see how this one does, since the PV didn't perfrom great.

Basically the ecchi debate for Ayakashi Triangle either puts you in one of two camps. "I'm expecting too much because this isn't Jump SQ and Yabuki actually wants to have a plot this time around" or "I don't like ecchi manga, yet here I am reading one but complaining because it has ecchi".

Personally, I think the amount of ecchi is fine. I like the story, I like the characters, and what ecchi is there is pretty good. Not every ecchi manga needs to be borderline ******.
I feel like I should comment on this because my posts may have played a part in triggering the discussion.
Between these two options, I am more inclined towards the one I bolded.
The reason I keep reading it is simple: I want to read all of Jump. Since I discovered mangas many years ago, I always dreamt to have in my hands the whole magazine every week and read it from top to bottom, in rigorous ToC order, and enjoy the full Jump experience. This sometimes means that I have to read something I don't like, but it's not a great sacrifice since it takes me about 10 minutes of my time.
About Ayakashi...I don't like ecchi. Actually, I don't like when ecchi takes a major part of a chapter and distracts from the plot. I am also fully aware that it is an ecchi manga and this is the main purpose of the series. If I detach myself from my personal tastes and judge it objectively, it is a very good manga where the author knows how to play with its fanbase, and it works (and sells). Also, the story is good. An early critic I had of Ayakashi was that the story was absent and everything was "Monster of the week", now there have been great improvements in that direction and I am glad to not having dropped the series just because it has ecchi. I also gave it great reviews when the aspects I like most of this manga were more prominent than the ecchi component.

So to summarize, the only word of the bolded statement I don't agree with is "complaining". I would be complaining if i say that the amount of ecchi in this series is bad, but what I actually say is that it is good but not for me.

I don't know why spokon authors keep forcing the 'starting a team with only two or three members', it messed up the pacing of your series and it shows that you cares more about fujos shipping the main duo than teamwork.
I mean, it may work for other and will survive but not for me, even elusive have better pacing if we have in mind is like assclass structure but with a less charismatic Neuro/Koro-sensei.
Like I c you, the main attractive of this work is the main girl, but idk how it will survive seeing the lack of sport in a spokon and the lead characters that isn't the girl felt even more bland than Tsubasa.
Witch watch have some good jokes and some bland ones, the male lead is my favourite.

Jujutsu Kaisen also enters in the top-25 of Jump titles with most copies in circulation. Is now 24th.

Next barrier is Yu-gi-oh (42M). The 50M terrain is still a little far (City Hunter, Yu Yu Hakusho, Haikyuu, Cobra, Dragon Quest Daiboken).

We have very good chapters this week. My rank:

Great:
Jujutsu Kaisen
- shit just got real.
Sakamoto Days - every man is acting gangsta until the wife gets mad.
Kowloon's Ball Parade - I like the development. It is a promising one.

Good:
One Piece
- finally the thing that hasn't happened in a really long time.
My Hero Academia - seems like that the beans will be spilled.
Build King - nice chapter with some cheeky moves.

Average:
Witch Watch
I tell C

Meh:
The Elusive Samurai
- nothing really interesting here again. The art is lit tho.

I hope My Hero Academia season 5 anime creates the reaction the manga needs. I really hope the manga reaches 40 million copies in circulation soon, but at the rhytm it's going I see it happening in 2022 (unless the Kimetsu-JJK effect gets combined with anime season 5 to at least make the number of copies in circulation rise 2 millions per volume over the current million per volume).

Right now Jujutsu Kaisen is 22th in the Jump ranking by total copies in circulation in Japan (counting only Japan, JJK also beats Shaman King (35m) and Cobra (30m)). My Hero Academia is right now 27th, and it should rise to 26th soon (when it reaches 31 million and ties with Kuroko no Basket).

MHA isn't declining. The manga is the very epitome of stability, it always wins 1 million copies in circulation every new volume, which makes very easy to follow the total number of copies in circulation. JJK is going right now 2.5 million copies in circulation per volume.

I'll be happy with MHA moving to 1.5 million copies per volume to try to rise it a little more. Well, soon or later it will reach 40 million copies only in Japan.

Is there a site where these lower circulations are archived? Or do you have to find all of them yourself?

I don't understand the concern, why does My Hero have to exceed 30 million at all costs?
